OMG yay I've successfully passed the 20 chapters mark! Hooray ☻ (this face is creepy)
The picture might be Isaac😉

I simply lay on the ground, with my eyes closed as I succumbed to my fatigue. I still kept my consciousness though, as I decided that I would really want to know how Isaac was going to help the abilitials. I figured that Isaac would say something out loud to reply Dan, who was just a few inches apart, and hence my ears would be enough to assist me in my intentions, along with my deduction skills which I was somewhat proud of.

D: Sherrie! Are you alright?

S: Yea... Just couldn't muster up enough energy to stand up or at least split my overweight eyelids.

D: Hahahahaha! Okay you'll rest on the ground. Don't worry, we have Isaac with us now.

Plan B: I could have Delphene tell me what Isaac was planning to do.

S: What's he going to do?

Before Delphene could reply the one enquiry that I was dying to find out so that I could rest in peace, Isaac started talking again.

Back to Plan A, where I was going to listen to whatever that comes out of Isaac's mouth and deduce his intentions myself.

"Dan, you ready?" His voice was full of determination.

As soon as those words escaped Isaac's mouth, I felt a gush of familiarity rush through me.
Where have I heard them before?

My curiosity got the better of me and I overcame my exhaustion, slowly opening my eyes. Since the Dark Meadows was already dark, I had no difficulty adjusting my eyes to the surroundings.

I used the ground as a support as I pulled my body up from the ground, enabling me to sit while facing Isaac.

To my surprise, I saw Isaac putting his hand on the 'ID' mark he had on his other palm. He was focusing his energy on the mark of contract...or rather concentrating his will to rescue Dan and Delphene on it.

The motive behind his actions then struck me like a sudden lightning bolt. Isaac was trying to use the enhancing technique, just like the one I have used while rescuing Isaac!

I was going to use that technique for Delphene and Dan in the first place, but silly Isaac left an opening for the clone to hit him with the dark power, resulting in me being left with no choice but to save him first.

Even after I trusted him with the job of finishing the clone!

I sulked for a few seconds before realising that I was acting like a child.

After a few minutes, I started to see hints of the bright aura shining out from Isaac's mark of contract. Then, in another instant, the bright aura grew bigger; that was when I knew that he succeeded in drawing the power of Dan and the mark of contract out.

I anticipated Isaac's next words which would then lead me to a conclusion to my deductions.

"Space manipulation, activate. Make the size of this cage shrink."

With that information, I only needed another sprinkle of deduction to finally reach my long-awaited conclusion.

Instantly, the size of the cage that contained Delphene and Dan shrunk. I was astonished at the rapid shrinkage of the cage that I left my mouth half agape.

The addition of trying to figure something out to my fatigue did not help at all. After a minute of racking my already juiceless brain, I eventually gave up.

Isaac sat down in front of the cage, facing me, conserving his energy for the manipulation to work.

"Hey..." My voice was the opposite of loud.

"How does your manipulation help in making the cage disappear?" I was almost inaudible.

"I'm not really sure. The moment I was given my own conscious back, Dan started to babble all those stuff that happened. And then I was called back by Dan immediately after I stood up and wanted to get some revenge...Dan told me that I was their only hope I'm order for them to be rescued."

'Was that what I asked you?' was what I wanted to say, but I held it back in as Isaac have not yet finished his explanation.

Sensing my irritation that was as small as an ant, Isaac cleared his throat and went on to answer my question.

"And so... By slowly decreasing the size of the cage, the cage will soon disappear when there's nothing inside. When the cage presses against Dan and Delphene, it will slowly be destroyed. Your enhanced ability would have been much more effective, although I shouldn't be the one to say. Mine takes a lot of time because after all, the cage is not meant to be shrunk." Isaac laughed sheepishly.

"And thank you for saving me." Isaac added.

Those words caught me off guard but nonetheless they were some sort of music to my ears.

"You're welcome."
