In 2 weeks later...
"Jade, I'm home" her father shouts as he walks through the door. Jade ran to her father and hugged him. She was happy to see him because she missed him so much. "Can I ask you something" he said. "Anything" she said. Remember that I made an acquaintance with Sir Armitage Hux" he asked. Yes, the former general of the First Order and now commander of the New Republic" she said. "Was. The old man has died. His widow, an honorable woman, is found alone. Do you think that I deserve one last chance" asked her father. Jade responded with "Of course you do, I think everyone deserves a chance at happiness." Jade walked up to her father and hugged him. "She will be your stepmother and you will have two lovely sisters that will keep you company" her father said.
Later that day...
Lady Hux and her two daughters, Gwendoline and Christie arrived to Jade and her father's house. They both went outside to greet the new members of their family. "Welcome ladies. Welcome" said Jade's father. "You have such pretty hair" said Christie. "You should have it styled" said Gwendoline. "Thank you, maybe I should" said Jade.
"You didn't tell me that your daughter was so beautiful" said Lady Hux. "Well, she takes after her" Jade's father said as he was cut off by Lady Hux. "Her mother" she said. He smiled back at her.Later that night...
Lady Hux and her daughters held a party at the house. Jade walked around the house as she observed what was going on. She walked into her father's room and told him that he was missing the party. He wasn't much of a party person. "I have to leave first thing in morning" he said. "But you just came back" Jade said in disappointment. "I know; but the Resistance needs me. It's just a month, Jade. Everything will be fine. You have your stepmother and stepsisters and if anything goes wrong, you still have Maz to keep you company" he said. "I know, but it's not the same without you" Jade started to cry as she walked up to her father and hugged him. Her father tried to console her. "Jade, I'm always here for you and your mother's here too, whether you see her or not, remember that" he said. "I miss her. Do you miss her" she said in a melancholic tone. "Very much" he said as they hugged again.
The next day...
Jade and her father said their goodbyes. "I love you" she said waving goodbye. "I love you too" he said waving back to her as he flew off in his ship.
Jade walked back into the house with tears in her eyes as she was going to miss her father. "Jade dear" Lady Hux said getting her attention. Jade walked over to her and sat down next to her. Her stepmother hugged and consoled Jade as she said "Now, now you mustn't sob." "Yes stepmother" she said. "You don't have to call me that. Madam will do" she said. Just then Gwendoline and Christie came out of nowhere and started to argue with each other. "Gwendoline and Christie has always shared a room. I think that they're finding it very confining" said the stepmother. "Well my room is the biggest, besides yours and father's, maybe they would like to share it" Jade said. Lady Hux responded, "What a wonderful idea, you are such a good girl." "I could stay in the" Jade said as she was cut off by her stepmother. "The attic; but only temporarily, dear" she said. Jade walked upstairs to the attic with some of her stuff. She put her stuff down as looked around the room, which contained a lot of furniture and her parents' stuff. "Well, no one shall disturb me here. No stepmother and no stepsisters" Jade said as she started to rearrange the room.(That's the end of this chapter. As you may have noticed that I referenced General Hux and Gwendoline Christie aka. Captain Phasma. Stay tuned for the next one.) :):):)
