(This is the final chapter of this story. I could've ended it in the last chapter; but I decided to write an extra one just for fun. There will be an author's note after this chapter, so I could address my next story.)
Everyone arrived back at the palace and were met by BB-8, Chewie, Finn, Maz, and Leia. Jade was the first person to step inside the palace as she took in the new atmosphere, which would be her new home. It was so beautiful. BB-8 started to beep excitedly as everyone came back; but he was really excited to see one person in particular. "Hey buddy" Poe said as he knelt down waiting for BB-8 to come over, so he could hug him. BB-8 rolled over in his direction; but he stopped in front of Jade instead. "Hi BB-8" Jade smiled as she hugged him. BB-8 beeped excitedly. "It's great to see you again too" Jade said laughing. Poe started to get jealous. "Um. How did you two meet" Poe asked. "Jade was the one who found BB-8 in the forest" Ben said patting Poe on the back and walking past him.
"Maz" Jade said as she ran up to her and hugged her. "Hi Jade" she said. "Why didn't you tell me that my father was a Jedi" Jade asked. "Surprise" Maz said as she smiled. Jade stood up and turned to Leia, Ben's mother. They both stood silent, smiling at each other. Leia then hugged Jade and she hugged back. They hugged for a while until Leia released the hug. "It's nice to finally meet you, Jade" said the queen. "How do you know my name" Jade asked. "Your father told me all about you and now look at you. You've become a strong person just like your parents" Leia said. Jade smiled. "Thank you for making my son the happiest he's ever been" Leia said. "I'm happy to be apart of his life" Jade said kind-heartedly. "Come, I would like to show you something" Leia said.
Leia took Jade to the courtyard and showed her a special memorial, where Obi-Wan Kenobi rested. There was a beautiful engraved tombstone with many colorful flowers surrounding it. Jade had no words to describe what she saw; but she loved that the royal family honored her father in a special way. "Thank you for honoring my father in such a beautiful way" Jade said with tears in her eyes. "Your father has done so much for us over the years. He was like family to us and now we're happy to be welcoming you into our family. Come along now, we must get you ready for your wedding" Leia said holding Jade's hand. Jade nodded and walked back inside the palace.
Leia and Maz helped Jade get ready for her wedding, along with a few other palace workers. Leia did Jade's makeup while Maz did Jade's hair. Jade's makeup was applied naturally with rose gold eyelids and tinted red lips. Her hair was styled half up half down and then Maz placed a star headpiece in her hair. Jade then put on her dress, which was creme white with rose appliqués on the bodice. A sheer white cape with a jeweled chain was then place on Jade, which made the dress less plain and more unique. Lastly, Jade placed in her earrings and slipped on some white heels with rhinestones. You look beautiful, my dear" Leia said while Maz nodded in agreement. "Thank you" Jade smiled. The wedding didn't start for another hour. So instead of waiting in her room, Jade walked out of her room hoping that she won't get caught and headed to the courtyard.
Jade walked through the courtyard and stopped in front of her father's grave. "Hi dad. I miss you and mom so much. I never go a day without thinking about the both of you. So much has happened while you were gone. I found out that I was force sensitive and I was sent to go train with Master Yoda to become a Jedi. I was hoping that I would train with you. Anyways, I'm a fully trained Jedi master. I met this really nice guy in the forest while training and then I met him again at the ball. His name is Ben Solo, he's the prince of Naboo and he's a Jedi. I'm actually getting married to him today and I wish that you would've been here to walk me down the aisle" Jade said with tears in her eyes.
"Hey kid" a man said. Jade turned to see Luke Skywalker, Ben's uncle standing a few feet away from her. "Hi Luke" Jade said trying to hide her tears. "It's okay to cry, Jade. I understand what you've been through" Luke said. "Really" Jade questioned. "Yes. My father never got to train me either. Master Yoda had to train me, just like you were. Your father was a great friend and mentor to me and the Resistance. When he told me my father was a Jedi, I asked him if he could teach me the ways of the force and he did just so. Here's a fun fact actually, Leia named Ben after your father. When I first met him, he was known as Ben Kenobi" Luke said. Jade started to get teary-eyed again and said, "What an incredible honor, that was really nice of her to do." "Yeah it was. Anyways, I know your parents aren't able to be here today and I'm so sorry for that, but I could walk you down the aisle if you'd like" Luke said. Jade smiled and hugged Luke. "I would love that. Thank you so much" Jade said. "Anytime kiddo. Now let's get rid of those tears, your wedding starts really soon" Luke said. Jade nodded as they both said goodbye to Obi-Wan Kenobi and left for the wedding.
