Chapter 24

I woke up the next morning in my bed, alone. I thought it was all a dream and Jake wasn't actually here last night, I roll over to look at the time and see a note on my nightstand.

Alex,
I had to leave for work early this morning, call me when you wake up and we can have lunch later together.
Jake.

I looked at my phone and saw it was 10am and decided to text him because I'm too tired and lazy to talk.

Hey Jake, just read your note you left me.

It didn't take long for him to reply, only a few minutes.

Good morning, would you like to meet for lunch later, my meeting finishes in a hour, will I pick you up then?

I quickly reply with a yes that sounds good and lay my head back down onto the pillow.
I have no idea what happened last night, the last thing I remember doing is kissing him. I hope we didn't have sex but I didn't wake up naked so I have hope that we didn't. Things are weird and awkward with us right now, he ignored me for weeks with no explanation and it hurt, I felt used. I can't let him worm his way back into my life with no explanation.

The door of my bedroom opened and I shot up, wondering who the hell it was.

"rise and shine, sunshine" jonas shouted walking into my room.

"Jonas, what the fuck?!" I shouted back

Why the fuck was he here and how did he get in??

"What are you doing in bed! Get up!" He shouted laughing and then walked towards me, not before tripping over his own feet.

"Have you been drinking?" I asked knowing the answer.

Jonas likes to go out all night partying like he's a 16 year old. I don't know how he can last that long but he manages to.

He got up and face planted my bed, I assumed to go to sleep. I got up, grabbed some clothes and took a shower.

After getting dressed I went out to my kitchen for some water when I heard a knock at my door.

"Alex! Your door, someone's knocking, someone's at the door..." Jonas rambling.

I opened the door and saw Jake outside, I told him to come in and sit down. I really wanted to talk to him first before we went anywhere. I had to know what I'm earth was going on with him and what had been happening these previous weeks.

"JAKEYYY" Jonas shouted from my bedroom door and walked towards jake.

"What the fuck are you doing here and In Alex's room?" Jake asked, showing his dislike to the whole thing.

Jonas hugged Jake and wouldn't let him go. The face Jake had made me laugh, he wasn't happy at all. well I guess he deserves it.

"Jonas get the fuck off me, you stink"

"I do not!" Jonas exclaimed.

These two continued to bicker like children until Jake turned to me and asked.

"Why was he here, in your bedroom, drunk?"
