Chapter 4

A/n~I don't have much to say but i'm proud of this book, and i got a lot planned

Claudia pov 

After I finished my small glare at Trinity, my smile is back on my face when I look at Sha'Tanya. "I'll tell you when you go to the table so I only have to explain it once." I tell her as I walk to are  table with Claudia walking behind me. Trinity grabs Tanya and I's arm and runs to the table, us tripping behind her. She then quickly sits down and pulls Sasha down in a chair next her, "Ok we're here now introduce us." Trin says. I roll my eyes at her eagerness, I nod my head to Tanya so she can speak for herself. She gives a small waves and speaks "I'm Sha'Tanya, Tanya for short. I'm 17, I moved here from Cleveland, Ohio. Annnnnd that's 'bout it." I then look at my friends, so they can introduce themselves." Niya puts down her book and speaks quietly but loud enough to hear "I'm Niya Jackson" then she goes back to her book. I lean over to Tanya and whisper "she's usually quiet, she'll talk more once she gets to know you. 

Then Angel spoke" I'm Angel Coin, and i'm on the swim team with Claud, and I like to write." she then holds her hand out for Tanya to shake, which she does. Angel then sits back down, while Sasha struts over to Tanya and does a bunch of dramatic poses "I am the amazing Sasha Jay, at your service to being your new and favorite friend."  Sasha says doing a cat-walk down the invisible run way back to her seat as she sat down.

Trinity then jumped up from her seat and stood on the table, stepping on Niya's sandwich in the process, Niya looked up from her book and glared at Trin. Trinity stood tall on the table earning stares and laughs from most of the kids in the lunchroom. "I AM THE FABULOUS TRINITY CONLEY, AND I AM YOUR NEW FRIEND AND THE COOLEST PERSON YOU WILL EVER MEET!" Trinity shouted from the top of the table making everyone laugh. Niya just rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face and went back to reading. Tanya and I were giggling, until the teacher came over to us and yelled at Trinity "sit down and act like the lady your supposed to be!" Trinity sat down muttered something under her breath while the teacher walked away. 

Sha'Tanya pov

I can tell Claudia and her friends are different but are also hilarious and is a pack that sticks together. Hopefully I can fit in with them nicely and try to get to know Claudia better. We all sit down and started eating are lunch while talking and them getting to know me and me getting to know them. Since Niya's sandwich got crushed by Trinity's foot, I gave her mine, and just ate my bag of chips. I knew when I did that it helped Niya warm up to me more and Claudia liked how nice I was, so I got some bonus points with her too. 

After lunch was over we all parted ways while Claudia and I went to Social Studies. As we were walking I asked Claudia "So who's the Social Studies teacher and is he nice?, at my old school are social studies teacher was old and a ass." Claudia surprisingly didn't say anything about me saying ass, she just started talking "Well are s.s teacher is Mr. Mattson, and he's in his early 30's, he's also quite nice and he always picks are partners for projects but he puts us with are friends." I nod my head at what she was saying. 

Claudia then walks into a classroom to our right that has pictures of world historians on the door. I follow her in and see a tall white guy with a nice set of hair and a bright smile on his face. He walks up to me and Claudia. "Good afternoon ladies" we both say good afternoon in unison. He starts to speak again  "Ah! you must be the new student correct?" he says with a warm smile. I just nod my head, "I'm Sha'Tanya, Tanya for short." He holds his hand out for me to shake, and I do. He let's go of the hand shake and puts his hands behind his back "Well since you already know Claudia you can sit next to her if you would like to, also don't worry i'm not doing the embarrassing thing of having you stand in front of the class and speak, I'll do it for you." Mr. Mattson says. I nod my head thanks while Claud shows me are seats in the second row.

As the bell rings and a few kids walk in mumbling sorries for being late, Mr. Mattson starts to talk. "Ok guys! Good afternoon." Most students mumble a hi or good afternoon back. "I have one thing to say before we start though, we do have a new student if you haven't heard already." he gestures to me "that's Claudia" he says and I wave as people turn to look at me. Mr. Mattson then moves on "Ok now that, that's out of the way I can talk about the new project we're gonna be working on. To celebrate Halloween, you will be researching the history of Halloween with a partner and make a slide show to present on Halloween day. So I will pick your partners as always." he starts walking to his desk and picks up a clipboard.

 "Matt and Gabe" Mr.Mattson says, the two boys both high five each other. "Sophie and Maddi, Greg and Raplh, Stella and Faith, Kisha and Sasha and finally Claudia and Sha'Tanya." Mr. Mattaon says putting his clipboard down. Claudia and I lock eyes, I smirk and wink at her and she blushes looking down. This is the perfect excuse to get to know her more.
