"Head Captain.. HEAD CAPTAIN!!"

Head Captain Yamamoto turned his very aged looking face towards his subordinate and nodded. "Are they here?"

"Y-yes.." said the Soul Reaper on his knees, bowing repectfully. "They're here.. but.. they're rather strange sir!"

"Do not worry yourself with the details." said Genryusai. "Let them in.."

The door to the Head Captain's office slid open.. and Mavis Vermillion walked in, skipping cheerfully, as behind her.. Othinus also came in.. strangely enough.. she was at normal size.. not the 6 inch tall fairy-like size she had been before.

"Othinus.. Mavis." said Genryusai. "You two are rather punctual."

"It's better that every meeting we have involving this situation be as punctual as possible Head Captain." said Othinus. "In any case.. I felt now that I was back to a more.. suitable stature.. that I should seek to get used to moving around without riding on a certain boy's shoulder."

"So this is Soul Society.." said Mavis as she put a finger to her chin. "Rather boring isn't it? I'm glad I stayed in the World of The Living.. everything is much more fun around my guild."

"I am astounded how you've managed to stay in that world without ever letting yourself turn into a hollow.." said Yamamoto. "But in any case, there is a matter of greater importance of why we are meeting.."

Othinus nodded, her wide brimmed pointy hat flopped slightly from her eagerness. "Yes, Angelus is awake?"

"Most certainly.."

"Then we must see him!"

"He is currently rather confused." said Genryusai. "I wouldn't recommend it. Though now that he is awake.. we must discuss how to handle it.. obviously we need the information from him regarding Asgawrath.. but there is another problem.. my superiors.. Central 46.. they wish for me to send him to NumenCity as soon as possible.."

The part of Soul Society reserved for Numensapien souls.." said Mavis. "Once he's there.. we won't ever be able to speak with him.."

"Correct." said Genryusai. "Which is why we must switch to plan B... the plan which former Captain Urahara came up with.. as contingency...Othinus... it's time.."

Genryusai took out a long sheathed katana from under his desk and handed it to Othinus. "This Asauchi.. has no name yet.. but I have no doubt.. after imprinting itself on you.. it will.."

Othinus smiled as she looked at the sword. "Me.. a Soul Reaper? That has to be the most outlandish thing I've ever heard... but... I like it.."

A car was driving down the street through a heavy rain, rather ordinary in all appearences, Misuzu was sitting shotgun as her husband Tabigake drove.

"You're wrong.." said Tabigake. "She isn't great... She's the greatest!!! It's wonderful that we finally get to spend some time with her.. heaven knows she needs it after all the things that went down during the Festival last week.

"You know.." said Misuzu. "Have you ever gotten the feeling that somebody was watching you?"

"Not really?" said Tabigake. "What would give you that feeling?"

"Well.." said Misuzu. "It's just.. I've been getting a lot of strange chills.. oh it's probably nothing.."

Tabigake grinned. "You're probably just nervous... after all our Little Lucy's been spending so much time in the guild, you have to wonder what they've been teaching her.."

"As long as it's them.." said Misuzu. "I don't think there will be a problem..quite a rain storm we have here hmm?

"Yeah.." said Tabigake. "Wait.. is there somebody in the road...?"

Tabigake stopped the car and honked his horn. "Hey!.."

"He looks rather drenched.." said Misuzu. "Wait.. I think that's one of the contestants from the games.. one of those new guilds that showed up.."

"Hey you're right." said Tabigake rolling down his window. "Hey.. son.. why don't you get in.. you shouldn't be standing in such a downpour.. you'll catch a co-cold..."

The figure.. had just pointed a finger at Tabigake's forehead...

"Cero..." said Ulquiorra.

The rainstorm was lit with a brilliant green light...and then everything was silent...
