Charlie's POV:

I loved her. What started this? It was a usual Wednesday, where I was immersing myself in my usual routine. Cheer practice in the morning, back-to-back draggy classes and lunch. Then boring classes again and some cheer practice some more. But in between those ordinary routines, something new came along. It has come to the school's attention that another Omorfos has just transferred here. I still remember during our orientation day as a cheerleader. The senior mentioned the name Omorfos few times and with great honour. It seemed as if the first Omorfos who got a scholarship to the school was no average student. She wasn't the typical goody two shoes or the perfectionist. She simply was excellent in her own marvellous way. The reputation that predes the cheerleading squad right now is mostly thanks to her. From what I could gather, our squad was once a plague to the school. No one knows the details except for the seniors and the principal. But everyone acknowledged that even until now, the Omorfos family is quite prestigious in its own radar.

Ivy Omorfos became the talk of the school by lunch time. Every move she makes, ever breath she takes, everyone is watching her. They wonder if she would follow in the footsteps of her legendary sister. I didn't see the relevance of the commotion until I personally saw her with my own eyes.

She was...different than what people anticipated her to be. She's quite the opposite to her famous sister. They still share the same humility trait. But you just know there's a different aura to her. It made my heart skip. Looking at her and realising that she's something else than everyone pictured her is out of the world. I can't describe the feeling. Since that day on, I had my eyes glued on her. Having a gorgous super hot model as her bestfriend did not affect her in any way. From the interaction that they have and the way they handle themselves, you could mistaken them for two ordinary girls trying to live their high school life. Except that Violet is super tall and Ivy is just... Ivy.

One day, I had the most terrible day. I accidentally left my Biology homework at home. Woke up late. Got scolded by my captain for messing up our routine. Had detention by the end of the day. I was feeling frustrated by all the negativity, I turned to the most common path; pout and scowl. While my twin brother and friends tried to cheer me up, I leaned on my locker without having a care in the world. As my ears were tuning out of the conversation, all of a sudden, she walked up to me.

"I think you look prettier when you smile. Don't let the bad day drag down your mood."

That was what she said before walking away. She didn't event wait for me to respond or study my facial expression. My friends' words came to a halt and they all stared at me for an explanation; which I did not have. Then, I felt my face burning up and I looked back into the mirror I put in my locker to make sure that I most certainly look horrible today. I was right. I did look horrible that day. But she thought I was pretty enough. Enough to walk up to me and say those words. If there's one thing I've heard about Ivy was that she is a reserved person. It's not in her nature to act so cheerful and be super friendly towards strangers. That's why she only hung out with Violet and Jane most of the time. Reflecting on those facts, I found myself smiling for the first time on that day. She managed to turn my mood around with just two sentences. Brilliant.

The rest? Is history. You know about the kisses we shared that night when we had that party. You know about our little date doing physical activities. You know about the moment we shared in the hallway.

Ivy is special. Not just because she's a special individual herselt but also it's because she has a special place in my heart. After that horrible incident at school, I made up my mind to be braver and take a shot of chasing after Ivy. But that determination soon faded out when my parents announced that they are transferring me to a boarding school in France. And all hope goes down the drain.
