Paralyzed (CITRUS AU)

Chapter 1

(Mama's name is Ume if you guys didn't know)

 "Yuzu.." 

 "No- n...o stop it please."

  "Yuzu!" "WAKE UP!"

  GASP

Yuzu opened her eyes and immediately had to adjust her eyes from the brightness from the morning sun. Yuzu groans,

"Wake up honey, time for school.", Yuzu tossed and turn, until she sat up and looked at her mama.

"Ok, ok Mama, I'll cook breakfast today, just give me a minute."

Yuzu's Mom nodded and walked out of her room. Yuzu stood up and walked to the bathroom and looked at herself. Messy hair and dark circles under her eyes.

"Another nightmare huh?" she thought to herself, she shrugged it off and brushed her teeth, brushed her hair and put up a normal amount of makeup. She walked out of the bathroom and set up her school uniform.

"Hmm, I'm just gonna change this uniform a little bit, it looks kind of boring." Yuzu grabbed a pink button up shirt instead of the plain white one and wore it under her school vest. She grabbed her green checkered skirt and grabbed her backpack. 

She smelled delicious food but then realized that she was supposed to make breakfast today.

"Mama! I was supposed to make breakfast!"

"I know dear, but you were taking long, look at the time." Ume said while smirking.

Yuzu looked at the clock and saw it was 8:40am and school starts at 9:00am. 

"Shi- Shoot!" Yuzu grumbled, "Gotta go mom I'll see you later!", Yuzu spat quickly.

Yuzu chugged down a glass of OJ and grabbed a piece of toast. Yuzu ran out the door of thoughts of being late to school. While running she sees her bestfriend Harumin and Yuzu smiled widely.

"HARUMIN! Good morning."

Harumin looked behind her and her face brightened.

"Yuzu! Hi, you need to be more careful, running like that especially in the morning."

Yuzu chuckled and hugged her bestfriend. They both speed walked to school and minutes later they were in front of their school gates.

"First one to homeroom, buys the person a drink!" Harumin said quickly before running towards the building.

"HARUMIN THAT ISN'T FAIR!" Yuzu yelled before sprinting towards Harumin.

Harumin obviously got to class first and Yuzu was exhausted.

"You owe me a can of soda" Harumin said with a smirk.

"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever." Yuzu walked in class.

Yuzu is a second year in highschool and she isn't... the best of her class. But she's definitely normal. 

Harumin is a second year with decent grades, definitely above normal but not the best.

Yuzu sat in her seat and put her backpack down. She put her chin in her palm and sighed.

Yuzu's homeroom teacher Mr.Tran walked in and said 'Please! everyone settle down and sit. We have a new student joining us today. She is the granddaughter of the chairman of this highschool, so I hope you guys treat her with respect."

Yuzu's eyes widen when she saw a decently tall girl with raven black hair and the most purple lavender eyes she's ever seen.

"Hello I'm Mei. Mei Aihara, I was mostly homeschooled for most of my life because of reasons due to family. But this is my first time at a real school, and I hope, I could meet to be an acquaintance of yours." she said timidly, while bowing.

Everyone was mostly quiet except for the obvious gawking of guys who are intent of staring at this new beautiful girl.

"Ahem. Ok Aihara-san you may sit next to Yuzu Okogi over there in the back. Yuzu raised her hand cautiously and had a small smile to show this new girl that she's friendly.

Mei walked over and sat down at her new seat. Yuzu looked over at her and said "Hi I'm Yuzu, w-well you already knew that of course haha..."  

Mei looked at her and Yuzu saw the obvious glare coming from her. "Yes I am aware of who you are, just because I sit next to you doesn't mean we have to be friends Okogi-san."

Yuzu's mouth was wide open from the huge change of personality that just happened.

"W-well ok then." Yuzu turned her body and continued to stare at the front of the classroom.

Yuzu thought to her self "What an odd girl."
