Chapter 16

A/N: Hello! Here is another chapter ;))

Mei's POV:

 "I promise." the words rang through out my head.

I choked back my sobs but unfortunately I couldn't hold them back. Tears came one after another to the point where they were flowing freely. I laid my head on Yuzu's shoulder, taking in the sweet vanilla smell.

"Thank you Yuzu." I said, after I calmed down.

"Of course Mei." She smiled down at me.

I sat back up, and Yuzu lightly palmed my cheek, I could feel the heat creeping from my cheeks to my ears. Yuzu chuckled and leaned in slowly. Her lips touched mine and a little noise from the back of my throat let out.

"Gosh! What the heck was that Mei??"I internally screamed, I felt a soft, wet object slide across my lips. I immediately opened my mouth for closer contact. I felt Yuzu's tongue slide into my mouth, and I couldn't help but hold back my moan. The nice moment quickly ended when Yuzu pulled away.

"Sorry! I got carried away." Yuzu spattered, she pulled away completely and scratched her neck.

" Yuzu. It's fine. I liked it." I reassured her.

The silence that fell between was comforting but I still had some questions I wanted to ask her.

"Y-yuzu.. Will you tell me more about your Dad?" I slowly asked.

She looked at me with shock, definitely not expecting that sudden asked-question. She looked out into balcony view and sighed.

"My Dad was everything to me... He taught me so much, and I couldn't accept his death for a while... I guess you can say with music and songs, and it almost feels like he's still there. That's why I want to sing when I grow up. So I can continue singing and playing music for him. That's a silly dream, isn't it?" Yuzu said, sadly.

"Of course not Yuzu, I really respect that you can continue it. You should definitely sing to a crowd sometime, you're amazing at singing." I said confidently.

She turned towards me and smiled, "Thanks Mei."

I looked at my phone and noticed the time, "We should go to bed now, Yuzu."

She nodded and followed me back into our bedroom. I got into bed and felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I looked behind me to see Yuzu.

"It's cold tonight, Mei." Yuzu teased, I rolled my eyes and turned towards her.

"Goodnight Yuzu." 

"Goodnight Mei."

A/N: IM SO SORRY THIS IS SO SHORT I USUALLY TRY TO MAKE MY CHAPTERS 1000 + WORDS.. But I wanted to get this chapter out by tonight because it's important to the plot. Anyway make sure to comment words of encouragement and make sure to vote!
