Mei's POV:

I pulled back and look into the emerald abyss of Yuzu's eyes. Her eyes were one of the most attractive thing about her. But then again everything about her is attractive.. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after telling Yuzu my feelings. 

"H-hey Mei?" I heard Yuzu say. 

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her, "Hmm? What's wrong?"

"Nothing.. You were just staring for a while." Yuzu said, a red hue covering her cheeks. She looked away quickly, trying to avoid my piercing gaze.

"What's wrong Yuzu? You're all red..." I teased,

"N-nothing! Your gaze just caught me off guard." Yuzu said, making eye contact with me. The red hue now a subtle pink.

I looked at the time and saw it was 7:15pm. I panicked and started putting the chair back.

"Huh? What's wrong Mei?" Yuzu asked,

I looked at her and made her sit up, "It's getting late! Mother is going to be mad! We both haven't ate or taken a shower. Plus we have school tomorrow!" 

I heard her gasp and she started putting her chair back as well. We both started speed walking out of the school and back home.

Yuzu's POV

"Mama! We're home!" I yelled, almost out of breathe. Rushing here was definitely tiring with all the rain.

"Yuzu... Mei..? Where were you two? I was worried!" Ume said, the dread was apparent in her voice.

"Ah! Sorry Mama, Mei and I went out for a walk. We didn't notice the time! Sorry!!" I lied, putting my hands together in a forgiving manner.

"Huh? Isn't it raining Yuzu? You hate the rain!" Ume pushed, her eyebrow arching with curiosity.

I looked over at Mei and made a look, "Mei loves rain! Don't you Mei?"

Mei caught on and responded, "Yes! Actually rain is my favorite weather, Mother." 

"Oh I see! Well then, you two should take off your shoes. I have a surprise!" Ume said excitedly, 

I looked over at Mei, and she shrugged. We both took off our shoes and followed Ume to our bedroom.

What we saw was definitely not what we expected...

"Well? Don't you two like it? I thought since you guys are close LIKE sisters you two should share the same bed! It leaves more space for the room too!" Ume said, totally oblivious of the situation they shared not even an hour ago.

After the moment of silence I spoke up, "We love it Mama! I'm glad I get to have more room for our other stuff now!" 

"Oh I'm very much relieved! I thought you guys didn't like it!" Ume said, with a sigh of relief and continued. "You two should wash up and eat. I made some dinner so you can eat that. Make sure to go to bed at a reasonable time! I'm heading to bed, building that bed was definitely not a easy job."

With the sound of a door slam. Indicating that Mama went to her room, I quickly went to look at Mei.

 I twiddled my fingers in a nervous manner and said, "I-i can sleep on the floor every night if you aren't comfortable sleeping together yet."
