Chapter 13

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait, but I do want to point out that some fonts or lines (used for time skips) may look weird! It depends if you are on a computer or phone. Since I'm on my computer writing this, everything looks normal. But when I look on my phone It can look different. Either or, please ignore it and continue on with the story! Oh yeah instead of "*time skip*" I'm just making lines to space it out! It looks more better that way!

Yuzu's POV:

"Mei kissed me... OH MY LORD MEI KISSED ME!" I Internally screamed,

I was currently on the couch touching my lips, dazed from the soft kiss. Mei left about 10 minutes ago in a hurry, it took me a long time to process what just happened.

*FLASHBACK 10 minutes ago*

I was looking at Mei with shocked eyes, In no way at all was I mad, but I was shocked. I was about to say something until Mei beat me to it.

"Y-yuzu! I'm sorry, I-i didn't mean to do that. I couldn't help it! I-i'm sorry!" Mei sputtered, 

"M-mei..." I started, but before I could even finish Mei dashed out the apartment. The door slammed loudly.

*FLASHBACK END* (PRESENT TIME)

Regret washed over me, I should've chased after her. But I thought we both need the same amount of space right now... It was 6:00pm, and I was getting worried since it was getting dark outside.

We have school tomorrow, and no matter what drama we have, we always need to care for each other. I got up from the couch and quickly put on a jacket and my shoes on. Opening the door to begin my search for Mei.

When I reached the ground floor and went outside it started to drizzle. 

"Should I get an umbrella?! A-ah no! I need to find Mei quick." I thought,

I dashed across the street, looking back and forth for any sight of Mei. 

I started to think, any place Mei might go.

That's when I thought, "The school!"

I quickly dashed to the school, It's getting dark and if Mei isn't at the school, I'd have no idea where she would be then.

I was now at the school, I went up the stairs and into the student council room.

"MEI!" I yelled, once I went into the room.

And there she was, sitting on a chair with her head faced down on the desk.

Mei's POV:

I dashed out of the apartment in a hurry, running down the stairs almost tripping myself. I went outside with a huff and thought,

"What have I done?! Gosh I'm such an idiot!"  

I looked behind me, fortunately Yuzu didn't chase. I thought of where I should go for now, I decided to go to the school.

Walking to the school was a very peaceful process, It gave me time to think about what I should say to Yuzu. Maybe make up an excuse? Force it as an accident?

"No! Yuzu isn't dumb. She definitely didn't think that was an accident..." I thought,
