Chapter 8

A/N: HEY GUYS IM BACK! I was thinking of doing PERSPECTIVES now. So in different perspectives, people may be called differently.So just look out! I just want to point out that Yuzu and Mei aren't related what so ever. Not even by marriage. Yuzu is still "Yuzu Okogi" and Mei is still "Mei Aihara"

Mei's POV:

"Gosh what the heck did I bring myself into?!

I was currently in a middle of a death stare between Yuzu and Taniguchi-san..

"Ahem. It's okay Yuzu. Why don't we go and shop now? We still need my literature books." I said, obviously feeling the tense situation i'm now in.

Yuzu tore her glare away from Harumin and looked at me. I blushed from her intense stare and looked away. I looked back at her and saw her face now relaxed.

"Sorry Harumin! Why don't we go get Mei's books?" Yuzu said, back to her usual smile.

I looked over at Taniguchi-san and saw her face relaxing too.

"R-right sorry.. Let me apologize to you first Aihara-san." Taniguchi-san said,

"N-no worries! I completely understand why you are a somewhat guarded about it." I said,

"S-still I'm sorry Aihara-san! I shouldn't have been so rude." Taniguchi-san said,

"Don't worry about it. Please call me Mei. Especially since I'll be seeing you more often." I said with a small smile.

She looked at me still unsure what to think then said, "R-right. Then you can me Harumi or Harumin. Any is fine."

I nodded and smiled. I then looked at Yuzu and waited for her to lead the way.

She caught my stare, her head tilted, unsure what to do next. I smiled and asked "Yuzu, you know the place better then me. Where is the book store?

"O-oh! I know a good one. Let's go!" Yuzu said

Yuzu's POV:

"I'm so glad they're friends now."

We were currently walking to the book store for Mei's books. I looked at Harumin and saw how she was still very tense. I smiled and sighed, I latched my arm around her neck to giving her a side hug and said, "Lighten up Harumin! I forgive you!" I showed a big smile to let her know I'm serious.

I could feel her muscles relax under my arm and hear her sigh. "R-right sorry Yuzu.." She smiled at me and I could see her usual happy mood go back to her.

I looked at Mei and I saw her side stare looking at us. She looked back in front of her and continued to walk.

We got to the book store and we all walked in. I looked at Mei and saw her immediately staring at the literature section.

"Go ahead Mei, Me and Harumin are gonna go to the manga section." I said,

She did a short nod and walked away. I let go of Harumin and went to the manga section, looking behind me to see her following me.

I was browsing the different types of manga, until I saw a peculiar book that was called "Peachy Sisters." I looked at the section I was in and saw I was in the "Yuri" section.

I blushed and still decided to look at the book I found. I read the back of the book and saw it was about two sisters, falling in love. I immediately blush at this and thought of Mei.

"No no no. Yuzu Okogi! Get a hold of yourself." I thought,

I looked at the manga and was debating if I should get it or not. I made a decision and decided to just get the first volume of it. I hid it behind my back and went to the cashier. Making sure to look around me to see if Harumin and Mei was nearby.

"Ahem! Miss, that'll be 1090 yen please." the Cashier said,

"Ah! R-right sorry." I stuttered. I paid the cashier 2000 yen, and waited for my change.

Until I heard someone call my name from behind me. I panicked and put the book in my bag.

I looked behind me and saw it was Mei, "A-ah! Mei, sorry. What is it?" I asked,

I looked back at the cashier while she handed my change to me. I thanked her and walked towards Mei.

"What did you buy Yuzu?" Mei asked,

I thought of a lie and then said, "Just a keychain is all."

I decided to quickly change the subject and asked, "So are you buying anything?'

Mei looked down at her items and she nodded. "Just these, they definitely have a bigger selection then what I'm used to. I didn't bring much money with me today, so I'm only buying two."

I then said, "Mei go pick out more, I could tell their is more you'd like. I'll pay for it."

"N-no! That's too much Yuzu." She argued,

"Mei I insist, I'd rather you be happy." I said, with a smile.

I saw her blush and then she nodded.

She then speed walked to the literature section with excitement, and I chuckled.

She then walked back towards me with two extra books more then last time. I grabbed her hand and walked with her towards the cash register.

I paid for all the books and I saw Mei smile with joy.

I blushed and looked away, "I've never seen her smile like that. She's so fricking adorable."

"Thank you Yuzu," She said happily, she squeezed my hand and I squeezed back then let go.

"No problem Mei, i'm glad you found books you liked." I said,

I looked around the book store and spotted Harumin sitting down on a couch.

"How convenient, that they have rest areas like this." I thought while walking towards Harumin, with Mei following.

"Hey Harumin, we're done. Want to go shopping now?" I asked,

"Ah sorry Yuzu, I actually gotta go home. Grandma just called me saying she needs help with lunch."

I looked at the time and saw it was 2:30pm, "Jeez already?" I thought, disappointed.

"Okay Harumin, no worries. Call me when you get home." I said,

She hugged me and said goodbye to me and Mei.

"Hey Mei, do you want to go home or you wanna keep on looking around?" I asked,

She was quiet and then she said, "We can stay a little bit more Yuzu, I could tell you want to do more. I saw an Arcade that we passed by. Do you want to go there?"

I smiled with excitement, and then said "Ooh yeah! Let's go."

I grabbed Mei's hand out of excitement and walked out of the store.

I had one thing, that I must do.

"OPERATION WIN MEI A STUFFED ANIMAL IS A GO"
