so i decided to take a two week break i guess.
hahahaha i never make my own choices
i also decided to never upload on my random story called recreation which you should check out because i do plan on posting a part two sooner or later i just haven't been motivated to write it lol.
most of the time i am just writing a little novella i might turn it into a novel idkkk
ORCHESTRA MEMORIES
i am a violist. i'd say im pretty good, but when i tell you these stories, you'll think i'm some trash bag.
so my orchestra conductor let us sign up for a holiday tour when i was in 6th grade and i signed up and auditioned for it and i got in.
i was literally the only 6th trader going with the honors orchestra and had two weeks to learn music they had been practicing for months.
we went to 3 elementary schools to show how amazing our orchestra was, and yes, it was truly amazing when i started early.........?..?.?.?.SCREEEEEEE IT IRRITATES AND EMBRASSES ME TO THIS DAY EVEN THOUGH I WONT HAVE TO SEE THE HONORS ORCHESTRA EVER AGAIN.
every piece we played, i made some mistake and it made me want to disappear into the floor. this dude kept glaring at me like i made some deadly mistake and i'm like 'bro it's just an orchestra' BUT DEEP DOWN I WAS SOOOOO DEPRESSED LIKE YOU DONR UNDERSTAND
so in 6th grade i moved up into advanced orchestra because intermediate was too easy and so was this orchestra. i tried out for this thing called 'region' and landed 4th chair and was 7th best out of like 40 people (we were divided into groups and only like half of that made it) so i'd say i did pretty good. and at the performance like yes queen.
we had to audition in front of not only our peers, but also the judges (which were behind a screen thing) and lets just say some people didn't know their key signatures and stuff like that and forgot to play the sharps and flats....
if you think i forgot, your wrong
tea spilled.
so my orchestra now (my 7th grade) is the highest tier. i sit in like 4-5 or 6-7 chair but they aren't permanent we haven't gotten our actual chairs yet.
we're going to this music conference that apprenetly holds 20,000 people, called midwest in chicago
hundreds of orchestras tried out last year, and we were the first middle school orchestra in our state to make it in. let me tell you, we were one of 3
we have the hardest program out of everyone, with 3 grade 4 pieces, 2 grade 3 pieces, 3 grade 2 pieces, and 1 grade 1 piece.
that looks so confusing and i don't expect you to understand it because i don't either. lol too many numbers for meeeee
once in orchestra i didn't have one of the pages for my music and i was sitting like fourth row because the whole seating arrangement was screwed up, but I spent the entire concert sharing a stand with two other people and reading music off a stand in front of me. let me tell you that was hard and not fun at allll. it was hallelujah so it wasn't that bad but it was hella annoying because i had the second page but not the first so my eyes like darted to the second page when we reached it.
once i preformed in the front row at a rampage hockey game and that was so fun! like we were on the big screen and everything and got to dress up like it was so awesome.
i guess i haven't been motivated to write because most of my views are my own LMAO. just thought of that now
getting sidetracked, i saw this video titled 'i'm in love with my mom' and 'i'm marrying my mom' they were by the same person AND THEY ARE THE WEIRDEST VIDEOS EVER I DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU DO WATCH THEM, but i finally have the chance to say this
