Hogwarts, Prof. McGonagall's office
McGonagall:
I knew as soon as I saw them that there was a new friendship... well, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a friendship, but I would call it a mutual understanding.
"You all have done enough for today," I said amidst protests. "I shall keep the stone here, at Hogwarts where it is the safest. If you won't mind, I would prefer if we meet here from now on. It's much more convenient, cleaner and safer."
As an afterthought, I added, "And there are free snacks."
There was laughter around the room as I cracked a smile. Waving goodbye to Hermione, Harry and Draco, and dismissing the professors, I stared at the stone on my table. The stone.
At that moment, Dumbledore's portrait spoke," Minvera, you have done well so far. There will be complications along the way, I suppose you know which two I'm talking about? Good. He and Fred will be faced against each other in a battle of wills during many of their dreams. Guide Draco through as I'll guide Fred. In the end, only one will be worthy and the destiny of Miss Granger changes with the person who she ends up with. Never forget this though... when you unleash people from the dead, Death comes. And bad bad bad people... people worse than Riddle might come back. Remember this."
With that, he was gone.
And with that, I felt even more stressed than ever before.
