Hermione's apartment

Ginny:

Oh Merlin. Everyone was staring at me like I was Jack the Ripper. I threw my hands up in the air. "What? So now a girl can't want to plan her wedding? So now a girl is being called selfish for not wanting to help her friend? Well, I'm sorry but her idea is madness and complete *. besides I'm kind of looking out for her as well 'cause she needs to get it into her goddamn head that YOU CAN'T BRING PEOPLE BACK FROM THE DEAD!" I screamed, my voice rising with every word.

Hermione's apartment

Draco:

Merlin's beard. I had finally convinced Hermione that she was perfect... which well she was... and had finally encouraged her to rest when that stupid Weaslette blew her fuse and started screaming.

Brushing my lips over Hermione's forehead, I told her to rest while I went to the toilet. Preferably to get a bucket of water and splash it onto that stupid Ginny's head. Couldn't she see that this was a terrible time God damn it.

Sighing, I made my way into the living room where everyone was still glaring at Ginny. For the record? Soooo not helping people.

Taking in a breath, I drawled, "well see here Weasley, it might be every girl's dream to get married, but I think maybe you should help those in need first? I mean Karma is a female dog and... I would really hate to see your life go up in flames because you couldn't help just one person. Furthermore, she is your best friend... isn't she? 'cause if not, I can add your names to my 'pathetic people list who I'll kill once I have a chance.' First up is Ron... and as much as it pains me to say this... but I think me and Potter are mutual... I would hate to see him cry when you're dead."

Ginny whirled around to face me. "You're one to talk! You're only helping that idiotic Granger because you want her to see how hopeless it is and fall in love with you! As much as it pains me to say this but it'll never happen!"

I smirked, "I know it'll never happen which is why I'm helping her to make sure she's happy" I replied.

As much as it pains me to say it, I did mean it if I couldn't have Hermione, I wanted her to be happy.

Harry:

I knew that Ginny was ten seconds away from an epic breakdown so I quickly tried to intervene.

"Gin, I love you so so much. You know I do... but come on, Hermione has been one of my closest friends for so many years. After what Ron did... I just want the best for her...and I think we should help her. I know that both of us are really busy but I'll take a day off work so that we can arrange the wedding and everything okay?" I reasoned with her.

"NO! I- I- Do you even love me, Harry? All is your heart set on Granger. I don't care what Ron did to her! After she got everyone pampering her and stuff, I actually think she deserves it!" Ginny screamed.

Merlin's beard.

Flashback

One night in my fifth year when almost everyone had gone up to bed.

"'mione? I need help with homework. I don't understand what Proffe—. Wait, where are you going so late at night?"

"Nowhere! Go away, Ginny. It's somewhere private and you can't be there!"

"But I want to go. Or I'll tell Percy."

"I hate you, Ginny! Go away. Please."

"But Hermione..."

"Go away!"

"Petrificus Totalus! Legilimens!"

Memories floated by of Hermione sitting together with Draco in the Astronomy tower, Hermione sitting together with Fred in the Great Hall. Hermione having feelings for Fred and Draco.

Potions class. Hermione breathes in the love potion. She doesn't really smell freshly mown grass, new parchment and spearmint toothpaste, she smells Fred's hair and Draco's perfume. She smells the scent of rain and books... but the smell of ----- was stronger.

What or who Hermione was attracted to Ginny couldn't tell. But she knew somehow, that that connection and that love would never break.

She veered towards Harry direction. What did Harry smell? He smelt...Hermione's hair... the smell that he remembered when he had last hugged her. He also smelled some weird thing, rain and the quidditch field.

As hard as she tried to search, she couldn't find anything that would tell her that Harry actually liked her and didn't know whether to be disappointed or happy.

Two years later, when she went back to Hogwarts, Ginny smelled Harry's hair as she leaned in to sniff in the love potion. Disappointment welled in her as she realised that it was a one-sided love.

End Flashback

"you... you don't love me." I whispered, staring blankly at Harry before chaos ensured.
