Chapter-34: Granger's Truth, Past Act-2, Partial Weasley Truth

Selene walked towards the Black Lake with frown on her face mumbling to herself about Draco, she knows that he is right but she can't change her way of living independently which she is doing for last 11 years of life, she also realizes that she unnecessarily grabbed the attention of the cold coot but she can't help but to snap at that stupid mudblood, Weasel and Weaselette when they talked about her mother and mom which was always a sour subject for her to talk, she came out of her reverie when she felt a presence beside her only to see Blaise throwing small stones into the lake magically.

"Draco sent you to be my bodyguard now," Selene snapped at him while he raised his eyebrow in question.

"No, I came by myself to give you company as I know how difficult it will be to talk or to listen about your parents or parent when they are no more part of your life and world," Blaise said shrugging his shoulders while she looked at him in surprise.

"I didn't expect that answer from you as you are always aloof and kept to yourself, even though you are friend with girls and best friend with Dragon, I mean if you feel it so," Selene said looking at the lake.

"Well from childhood I was  a lonely child because no one wanted to associate with the son of the black widow and the war also made it more difficult because my mother was a Slytherin and was a friend and ally of Lord Malfoy, then I met Draco and I found a brother and best friend later others whom I consider as siblings but I don't tell them, more so I don't know how to say that to them and you remind me of myself a lot as well as I can understand how you feel up to some because I had my mother with me to love may it be in rare occasions," Blaise said.

"You know when I was a child living in a cupboard under the stairs I always dreamed of a family coming to my rescue and who cares for me and will love me as to how I am but that dream got destroyed the minute I understood the world and the people around me from that time I kept my dreams and desires to my own and before two years I found myself as a Witch and after one year spending here in this world I came to conclusion that I'm a freak here too because everyone was treating me as a god but what everyone forgets is I paid the cost for the feat that my Mom did, I became an orphan on the same day loosing each and every family member, then in summer I found out that I had a family who was unknown of my presence and from that minute my life got completely changed, my Papa, grandpa and every family member including Dragon loves me for what I am and cares for me but they have a doubt that I don't trust them but the truth is I  looked after myself for 10 years and it is difficult for me to accept the fact that I have someone now who will look after me, will take care of me, it will take some time to think and do the things so that my family will not be the one who will face the consequences of those actions but Dragon is not understanding that I can understand his concern but he is being a stubborn ass," Selene explained her  opinion to Blaise.

"Rose maybe that is what you should explain to him and your father and grandfather and they may help you that and they will understand that you trust them, think about it," Blaise said standing up to walk back to the castle.

"Maybe you are right Blaise," Selene said standing up to follow him while Blaise just gave her a smile and started walking towards the castle.

"Blaise" Selene called softly and he turned back in question and looked at her,

"Thank you for being here with me today and thank you for listening to me when I wanted someone to talk and that was needed for me to get out of my heart," Selene said softly.

"I'm your friend  Rose and I will be always there for you and only if you want it," Blaise said softly.

"You're my friend Blaise and will always be," Selene said hugging him which shocked him but he reciprocated to it. After they walked inside castle through dungeons and entered inside only to see his father, Uncles and Draco looking worried.
