Natalie and David were on the couch staring at their phones, not knowing what to do. After a long time thinking, David had an idea.

David's pov

Me and nat have been on hour phones since the moment we got home. What should we do?

I secretly stared at nat seeing if she was bored or not, and judging by her body language, she was. But wow, that face was pReTTy CuTe. I have feelings for my assistant who happens to be my bestfriend. Wow that sounds like im on crack

I wanna hangout. Tonight should be fun, but meaningful.

Its night, how could i make it fun? Carnival. Thats the magic word. Carnival.

"Yo nat" she was startled by my sudden conversation starter. I let out a laugh
"Shutup" she respnded "what do you want?"
"You wanna go to a carnival?" I asked

She stared at me in a confused matter, as if i had something weird on my face. Unfortunately, i got caught in her gaze and looked at her softly.

"DAVE!" she woke me up.
"JUST SAY YES OR NOOO" i clap back.
"Sure." She answered.

We both stood up and got ready.

Time skip (no ones pov)

As they drive through the cold streets of LA in David's Lamborghini, David looked at Natalie once in a while. She's too beautiful for this world, he would think. She would raise her hands up feeling the chilling breeze of the air.

Time was fast, so before you know it, they were at the gate of the carnival.

"Lets go to the booths!" Natalie cheered like a five year old. David fell in love.
She took his hand and ran to the booths, both laughing like children.

Game after game, food after food, ride after ride, the pair landed at the ferris wheel, their last destination.

David's stomach was filled with butterflies, should he confess here? He mentally debated with himself.

They hopped on the seats and put on their seatbelts. before you know it, the wheel started to spin. Its neon lights lighting up the dark sky, the two friends kept help but smile.

This is it. Its time. David finally decided.

"Nat" he called out her attention. She looked at him with a smile that could fill the whole universe.

"You've been my friend for a very long time, and i thank you for putting up with this craziness" he pointed at himself while saying the last statement. She laughed with a confused look plastered on her face.

"But by the time we became even closer when you became my assistant, i fell in love with you. I fell in love with your laugh, smile, clothes, body, mistakes, imperfections, and in short, you" David's statement left Natalie shocked, but in a good way. She smiled at him flirtatiously.

She matched her lips with his, not allowing him to finish his cliche ass speech.

After that, they cant get their eyes off each other and after the carnival, they asked one of the Staff to picture them with his disposable camera.

They walked out of the memory-making carnival while their arms were wrapped around each others waist, huge smile stained their faces, and hearts glowing.

"I love you" he said. "I love you too" she responded.
