So this is not a chapter. Sorry if you think it is. This is about bullying. Or more accurately, cyber bullying.

Have you heard of Amanda Todds? I first heard of her by @ jasongrace567. (Btw that was what inspired me to being this up, so check out Jasongrace's story too, the House Of Hades)

Amanda Todds was a normal 15 year old girl. A girl with a bright future ahead of her. With people that loved her, and cared for her. But she killed herself. That's right, she committed suicide.

Why?

Because she was bullied. For her, it just wasn't only cyber bullying. She got physically bullied too.

She posted a video on YouTube. She told her entire life story on that video. (I'll post that video if you want later) but not with words. She wrote it all down on pieces of paper.

Amanda used webcam with her friends. One day, they told her to flash. So she did. That was a example of how peer pressure can affect your lives.

She made choices that were wrong. People teased her for that. They bullied her. She had no friends. And received no respect from anyone. People started posting mean comments online as Amanda started to hurt herself.

She was also physically bullied too. Punched. And kicked. Hurt had taken on a whole new level of meaning for her now.

So she posted a video. She told people about herself. Her life. And now, she's dead.

Amanda was a beautiful girl. She deserved to be treated with respect. Just because she made mistakes, didn't mean that people had to remind her and bully her all the time about it.

Think, what can you do to make a difference? People, students on High School often get bullied. Lots of people had done the same thing as Amanda did. They just couldn't take it anymore. Nobody helped them. Nobody stood up for them.

What are you going to do about that? Are you just going to sit back and watch it all happen? Or are you going I help the victim, and stand up for them?

People like Amanda shouldn't have ended their life so early. She was so young. She had a whole life ahead of her. And she threw it away, because people bullied her.

Cyber bullying is one of the most dangerous, yet most common form of bullying. People hid behind their computers. They don't think what they write will affect anyone, or they just think that nobody would know what they posted.

People post mean comments. Nasty pictures. And the victims don't deserve that. Unless they're proud of what they did or something.

Never ever put your personal information on websites like Facebook and twitter. Or else people can know everything about you. Strangers and friends alike will know the exact same information about you.

Try to stop bullying too. If you can't do anything, tell adults. Anyone about what's happening. You can stop people from committing suicide by standing up for them. Helping them.

If you're being bullied, please, don't keep it in the dark. Tell anyone you trust about it. Your parents. Friends. Pets. Even me.

I've been bullied before too. Almost everyone has been, once in their lifetimes. Whether it was when you were grade 1's, or you were in high school.

So stop people from taking their own lives because of bullying. We can't save Amanda Todds now, but we can save people like her. People who are in the same situation. Who just needs someone to help them. Someone to talk to.

Please, think about it. Bullying has became so common that almost everyone has experienced it. Our parents are probably wondering what caused people to be bullies. In their time, bullying almost never was as serious as someone taking their lives because of it.

What had caused our generation to be so harsh? For more bullies to appear?

True, bullies may bully other people because something is happening in their personal lives too. Something that they can't handle themselves. So they take their anger out on other people.

But that shouldn't happen. People like Amanda shouldn't have died. They should've continued to live a long and happy life.

Think, what can you do to make a difference? To make this world a better place? Please comment on this, if its just your personal opinion, or if you have some stories to share about bullying. Or what you can do to change the world.

Thanks for reading.
