Jason's POV
I sighed softly, following Piper deeper into the camp. Frank and Hazel were looking at everything in wonder. I have to admit, this camp did not look a lot like Camp Jupiter. Camp Jupiter is bigger. And had more people living in it. Way more people.
"So yeah, Camp Half-Blood may not be that big, but it is still a strong camp." Piper started, as if thinking of ways to make the Romans afraid of this camp.
Hazel and Frank nodded.
"You have Pegasus stables!?" Hazel asked in excitement, rushing to the stables.
"Yep. You can ride them anytime." I replied, grinning.
"That is so cool!" Hazel marveled.
"And you also have a bow and arrow station! It's not scorned upon, is it?" Frank asked anxiously.
"No way! It's a great weapon, and we have to respect it because the Hunters also use it." I replied, laughing.
"This camp seems less......strict." Hazel muttered, looking around.
"That's true. Greeks were more easy-going than Romans were in the first place." I agreed.
"So we can do anything we want, or...." Frank asked.
"No, you have a schedule! But we won't be staying here for too long, so I don't think we'll get a schedule. So you can just relax here." Jason replied, sighing.
"It's such a beautiful place. Even a strawberry patch is here!" Hazel observed.
"For our camp director." I replied.
"Who's that?" Frank asked.
"Mr. Dionysus." Jason replied.
"You have a God as a camp director?" Frank asked in shock.
Jason and I nodded.
"And was he nice or......" Hazel asked.
"Not usually that nice.....but still awesome." I replied, hoping that I didn't insult him too much.
"Better or worse than Bacchus?" Hazel asked.
I shrugged. "Dionysus right now is Bacchus so no real difference."
"Yeah, totally true." One of the campers passing us yelled out.
"These cabins....why are there so many?" Frank asked.
"Each cabin represents a God or Goddess. You live in the one that your mother or father was." Jason explained.
Hazel frowned. "Percy suggested that once. I think he was remembering life here at that time."
"Probably, and you eat with your sibling too." I added.
"So people like Percy and Jason and Nico have to eat and sleep alone?" Frank asked.
"Yep." Jason replied.
"Doesn't it get lonely?" Hazel asked, frowning. Being a child of Hades herself, she we probably going to be living alone as well when Nico wasn't here.
"Well, yes. But there is great people at this camp that will make you feel welcome all the same." Jason admitted.
"And is there a leader for each camp if its full?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, one leader. I think your leader is Clarisse, Frank. Piper's the leader of the Aphrodite cabin." Jason replied.
I smiled.
"So, this camp is sorta different from Camp Jupiter." Hazel concluded.
"Really different. Like we have all the nature spirits and stuff like that." I added.
