Prologue

Looking back, this was just the start. Years ago, I would have never thought my life would be so complete. Until my 28th birthday, really, I never would have seen myself falling in love again. Never would've seen myself loving any other human being ever again.

Then came that fateful day when I found a man under several dead bodies. In that moment, my life changed forever. The thought that maybe, I could have some romantic love in my life again never really went away. All through Neverland, all through dealing with Zelena, the thought never left.

When I finally accepted it, I couldn't have been happier. But when it all came crashing down... That's when I thought I couldn't have it. Any of it.

Going back to that day, the day my life changed, I can see how ignorant I'd been. If I had just opened up then and there, my family wouldn't have been in any danger right now. I wouldn't be stick in the future. I wouldn't be writing this.

Alas, I am. Perhaps it will pass the time. It doesn't seem like I'm getting anywhere anyway. The search for Killian and I has been going on for years. There's no sign of us anywhere. When we arrived the entire palace was shocked. No one knew... No one knows, what's going on. Killian and I hope we can help...
