Emma Jones' P.O.V

Emma struggled against the chains for the billionth time.

She sighed and looked across the cell at Killian. He looked thinner every day. As much as Emma knew the consequences of what she was about to do would be bad, Killian was sick and she needed to get him home

"This is ridiculous. We should be waiting for... Me... To show up. Emma, I'm-"

"Say you're fine one more time and I swear..."

Killian sighed.

"You haven't been fine in quite some time. We need to get you out of here!"

"Swan, we've been having this conversation for weeks. If we can figure out how the hell to get out of this place, I'll very happily go," Killian said.

"Jones. For the millionth time, when I married you, I became Emma Jones. I made that very clear to my past self," she muttered.

"Emma," he corrected with a slight chuckle, "I am the least of our concerns right now. we don't know how long it's been, we need to wait. I think the most important thing at the moment is to allow history to run it's course."

Emma shook her head.

"No. the most important thing is to get your ass out of here before you die!"

Killian sighed as Emma waved he hand and they were both temporarily blinded by a bright light.

Emma Swan's P.O.V

She didn't really know what to expect when she was called down to the battle planning room by Kaitlin.

Part of her hoped it was Killian returning.

Another part of her knew that wasn't possible.

It has only been a week. he wasn't due back for another week yet.

She certainly didn't expect what she saw.

When Emma walked in, there was a brief moment when she thought Killian was actually back, because yes, that was certainly Killian standing there.

But he looked so pale, so thin, so sick. And older, much older.

When an older version of her walked beside him, Emma was officially lost.

She quickly realized that this older version of herself was holding Liam.

The older Killian smiled and quickly walked over to the present version of Emma, and hugged her tightly.

"Uh... hi..." she said, confused as to what she should say to a future version of her fiancé.

The older Emma sighed loudly and walked over to her younger self, handing the young Liam to Killian.

She took Emma's hands in her own.

"I'm guessing you got my letters?" She asked.

Emma nodded.

"Good. Then you need to listen closely to what I am about to say, do you understand?"

Emma nodded.

"Your Killian is dead." The older Emma said.

Emma's heart dropped.
