"So now I'm the Dark One," Emma concluded, sitting in Granny's with her family, after explaining everything that had happened.
"Well, I mean, you're not... But, well she is...?" David said.
"This is ridiculous," Regina sighed.
"You're telling me, there's bloody three of me!" Jones exclaimed, obviously confused, and very annoyed.
"Um. Yeah? It's kind of a long story, but I for one, haven't experienced the same events as you. This is as much a shock to us as it is to you." Killian said, gripping Emma's hand.
"Wait, what events have we shared? What was the last thing that happened before everyone was killed in your timeline?" Hook asked Killian.
"Uh, the Snow Queen. Ingrid. She tried to kill everyone and-"
"And she wanted Emma and Elsa as her sisters," Jones continued.
"But she sacrificed herself to break the curse of shattered sight." Hook finished.
"Then six weeks of peace before..." Emma continued.
"Zelena came with an evil version of us," Killian said.
"Ursula, Maleficent, and Cruella came," Jones said.
"Wait, Ursula?" Emma asked, "She's the one that kidnapped future us in our timeline."
"Here, she was reunited with her father and left peacefully," David explained.
"Hook? What happened in your timeline?"
Hook glanced at Killian. "It was me that you and our future self encountered in the past. Emma and I were trying to do just as you had a few weeks before. Stop Zelena. However, upon our return, we realized there was an issue. Someone had followed us back."
"Who?" Regina asked.
"Me... Us... The version of Hook that had just met Emma. His memory wasn't actually erased. He followed Emma and I. Because he was stuck in the future, Emma and I never climbed the beanstalk, I never fell in love with her and our timeline was severely altered. Within two days, Emma forgot everything. Henry never went to Neverland, she never found Neal in New York, everything was changed because I wasn't present in the timeline. Day three, I was transported back to the enchanted forest. I've no clue what happened to the other me, locked up I'd assume. I found the realm empty, for the most part. I met Robin," he gestured across the table to Robin who held Regina's hand, "He was living in Gold's castle. He believed me and helped me create a portal that led me to another timeline, to find you two in New York," Hook explained, "That's why I've not aged much. For me, it's been only a matter of weeks."
"Jeez," Henry muttered.
"Aye, lad, jeez is right," Jones, placed a hand on Henry's shoulder.
"Mommy, I'm confused. I still don't understand why there are three daddies." Kaitlin whispered to Emma.
Killian chuckled and took his daughter in his lap. "I think your mother is too busy enjoying it to care," he said, looking teasingly at his wife.
Emma rolled her eyes and kicked Killian under the table.
"Swan, you know it's true," he chuckled.
"That is not my last name. And that's not the point of this anyway. We need to figure out how to stop everything, how to reset everything and keep all our timelines the same."
Jones smiled. "I knew she'd warm up to marriage."
Emma reached across the table and took his hand gently.
"We'll find your Emma. We're going to fix this."
Jones nodded.
"Do we have any idea where to start?" Regina asked.
"Camelot," Jones said, "The apprentice, he said something about Camelot."
"In Rumplestiltskin's castle in the enchanted forest, there was a whole case of items from Camelot," Robin said, "Maybe we can find a way to Camelot in his shop."
"Where is Gold, anyway?" Emma asked.
"In his shop. But he's still in a coma, I'd assume. Belle's probably there too. Maybe she can help us," Jones said.
"Okay, sounds like a plan. Just one question," Emma said, "How did we end up in your timeline when we returned to the town?"
"I have no clue," Jones said.
"I might," Regina breathed, "and if I'm right, we're all on a suicide mission."
Short, I know, but it's just kind of a filler/backstory chapter to set up the next several chapters. Comments and votes are appreciated! Thanks for reading!
