"You're telling me to bring my seven-year-old daughter back to that place, when we know Rumplestiltskin is running around, seeking murder?" Emma questioned Hook.

"I'm afraid killing the Dark One is the only way to end this and reset the timeline," Hook explained calmly.

"Bull shit," Killian slammed down his hand on the table, making Hook jump and Kaitlin come running into the kitchen to see the confusing scene.

"Killian, language!" Emma scolded him, which he ignored.

"Mom? What's going on?" She asked hesitantly, glancing between the two versions of her father.

"Why don't you ask your father, since he can't seem to control his temper?" Emma said, exasperated, shooting a glare at her husband.

Kaitlin had learned her family's history as she grew up. She was aware that no, her family wasn't dead, just missing. She knew that once she was old enough, they were going to leave New York and move to Maine to find her family. That didn't make the fact that there were two versions of her dad sitting in her kitchen any less confusing, however.

"Dad...?" The young girl asked.

Killian sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Kaitlin may have been merely seven years old, but she had the mind and maturity of someone much older. She was incredibly intelligent and acted as old as Henry had been when this mess began.

Killian knelt down in front of his daughter.

"Do you remember when Mommy and I told you about the other versions of time?" He asked.

Kaitlin nodded, glancing at Hook once again.

"Well, this is me in another time," Killian motioned toward Hook, "He's from before you were born. We need to help him so that you can finally meet your family," he explained. Kaitlin nodded in understanding.

Hook walked over to Kaitlin as Killian got up and tried to wrap an arm around Emma, who shot a glare at him, dodging his arm. Killian needed to stop cussing around their daughter!

"Hello, lass. How are you?" Hook asked Kaitlin.

The young girl smiled at this odd, younger version of her father. "I'm good. Does this mean we have to go to Maine now?" She asked, turning around to look at her parents.

"Uh... Yes, it seems so, little love," Killian said sadly, crossing the room again to pick up his daughter. "But don't you worry. Once we find our family, they'll all love you so much! You'll have a big brother, Henry. You'll get to meet your grandparents, and your baby uncle. You'll have more family than you'll know what to do with. You'll be related to everyone!" Killian added the last part with a small smile at his wife who shook her head with a smirk.

Kaitlin's green eyes were watery. "But what about my friends? Will I get to see them?" She asked.

"We'll visit all the time!" Emma assured her.

*******

They left after lunch and after a long drive, the four finally arrived in Storybrooke. Upon entering the town, Emma had protected them with an invisibility spell.

They had carefully executed their plan during the drive there and were prepared for anything they were to be faced with.

Well, almost anything. Not this... Certainly not this...

Emma hit the brakes hard when she saw herself in the middle of Main Street with her forehead pressed against Killian's, holding the Dark One dagger. This version of herself pushed Killian away before raising the dagger and being enveloped in a dark cloud of magic. Thankfully, Kaitlin was asleep and saw nothing. Emma, Killian and Hook watched in awe as Emma's parents, Robin and Regina, people they hadn't seen in years protested as their version of Emma disappeared, leaving the dagger behind. Emma had a pretty good idea what name was on the dagger now...

This wasn't supposed to happen originally, obviously. However, after the finale, I have such a better vision for where this book is going! That's kind of my excuse for not updating in nearly a month... I was planning a better plot. (And I had exams) but I hope you enjoyed this chapter because things are about to get pretty freaking crazy again! Thanks for reading!
