Sunlight streamed through the boys' absentee windows. Neither Adrien nor Billy moved since their initial hug. Only when the first rays of sun illuminated Adrien's sunken eyelids, did he move his head from Billy's shoulder. Adrien turned to look at Billy, whose eyes even though open, wasn't all here, his expression far away.

"Billy," started Adrien his voice raw and shaky. "I need to tell you something".

Adrien's voice snapped Billy out of his la-la land. His head snapped towards Adrien and he gave his friend his full attention. With a nod, he signaled that he was ready and listening.

"I got kidnapped yesterday," started Adrien, but he soon was interrupted by Billy's horrified shriek of 'What?!' and his matching facial expression. "As I was saying, I was kidnapped. They... he knocked me out with something and when I woke up I was tied and couldn't move. He was trying to kill me, Billy, he said something about sacrifice and his god," Billy's horrified expression didn't alter, but he was listening to his friend, while his hand found itself on his shoulder, trying to give him comfort and strength.

"Then something weird happened. Someone saved me. He pulled me into this another dimension, the prison dimension, where he was locked up. It was a huge nine-tailed fox, like my plushy, but bigger. He told me he was a Nogitsune. Dark Kitsune, Japanese fox spirit. He said he was trapped there for a while. Long story short I'm a Kitsune now. Nogitsune to be exact. And I have new powers. One of them being, me feeding off pain and suffering of others," finished Adrien with a sheepish expression, scared of Billy's rejection.

Billy just sat there unsure how to process the load of received information. His brain short-circuited and he blurted out the first thing that came to mind. "That's why you have fox years and tails, huh?"

"Fox WHAT?!" shrieked horrified Adrien.

He jumped up, his hand patting his bum and to his horror, he could feel nine fluffy appendages, that weren't supposed to be there coming out of his ass. Atop his head, sitting innocently, were two fluffy ears, the same color as his hair.

He started to wildly spin on one place trying to get a good look at his new tails, not realizing how much like a dog he looked like. It was too much for Billy and he burst out laughing, looking at his friend chase his tail...s. Adrien half-heartedly glared at Billy for daring to make fun of his misfortune, but soon he joined him in the laughter.

"What am I supposed to do with those?" asked Adrien. "Rhetorical question Billy," snapped Adrien when he saw Billy open his mouth. "I can never go in public like this," bemoaned Adrien.

"You said your Foxxyness is magic-related right?" asked Billy, ignoring Adrien's mumbled 'Foxxyness isn't a word'. "So what if you just concentrate, think about your tails and ears disappearing. Maybe it will help?" suggested Billy.

Adrien decided that it was worth a shot, he started picturing himself looking how he used to before sprouting fox tails and ears, and to his amazement, it worked. He felt his tails and ears being, sucked, is the best word to describe the sensation, back into his body.
