Adrien lay on the bed, till the first rays of sun hit their windows. He decided to get up and prepare some food for his family. Family, it sounded nice. That's exactly what they were. Little, dysfunctional, but still a family. By prepare, he meant with a wave of his hand, conjure a perfectly cooked meal. The divine smell, excuse the pun, woke Conner and Billy from their sleep. They stumbled into the kitchen eyes half-closed and dried drools on their mouths. During the meal, boys talked about various things, joking and enjoying the easy-going atmosphere. Conner and Billy tried very hard to distract themselves and not to dwell on their feelings. They were very nervous to meet their parents after all. After finishing the meal Billy decided to go Shazam, while Adrien and Conner stayed home, playing with Kurama and Krypto. Adrien tried to do his best to distract Conner, he could feel the worry radiating from the boy in waves. So they kept the talk casual and watched various happy movies. Adrien was sure to pick those, that didn't mention 'daddy issues'.

Barry Allen, the fastest man alive, aka Flash, considered Captain Marvel his good friend, even though he didn't even know his name. The guy was easy going, little ball of sunshine. Always radiating positivity and cheering up everyone with his bright optimism. His childlike innocence only enhanced his heroic qualities. Making him popular amongst the people. After greeting his friends Billy started looking for Supes, he found him chatting with Diana. Billy awkwardly cleared his throat, gathering their attention.
"Hey Supes, can we talk? alone? it's kinda private," told him, Billy, trying very hard to control his voice. Superman frowned at the unusual request, and a slight tremble in Captain's voice, that his Kryptonian enhanced hearing picked up.
The two heroes found an isolated room, with no video cameras. Billy cast a spell, a simple "Muffliato!" to muffle their conversation. There were lots of heroes with enhanced hearing after all. Superman looked at him with worry now, but Billy quickly started talking.
