Emily pov
Since Ali and Billy have arrived, I can't take my eyes off her. I mean she's just so fucking beautiful in that outfit, I'd do anything to just pin her to that wall and fuck her until she can't walk anymore but focus Em, you have your children around. Speaking of them, I'm surprised none of the girls have come down to hug Ali yet but I'm guessing they're still with Billy upstairs. I go back to the kitchen to check on the dinner while Ali is making herself comfortable on the couch. I offer her a glass of lemonade which she gladly takes. Since Ali is sober now, I don't have any alcohol in the house anymore. I sit beside Ali on the couch and just look at her. Before I can say anything, we can hear footsteps running down the stairs and before we know it, we have four children on top od us. The girls jumped on Ali and hugged her and Billy is with me. Ali is kissing the girls and telling them she loves them and misses them every second. They're all hugging, it's warming my heart. I tell the girls to let Ali breathe a little and also tell them to go sit at the table since dinner is ready. Ali follows me in the kitchen and offers her help which I decline because I really don't need her help. I tell her to go sit with the kids and that I have everything under control. I can hear Ali and the kids laughing from the kitchen, I really missed that sound. I bring the dinner, Ali thanks me and we all eat in peace, talking and laughing, just like we used too. I managed to ask the girls if they did their homework correctly and they said they had some troubles. Ali being the teacher, she told them she would help them after dinner. The twins were extra happy. We finished out family dinner in peace, me and Ali didn't discuss our issues yet because I don't want to discuss this in front of the kids. After we ate, Ali offered to help me but I told her to go upstairs with the girls and help them. Billy stayed with me though. He helped clear the table and then we just settled down on the couch and watch some tv, cuddled up together.

E: how is school going little man?
B: it's okay. I have the best grades of my class in French
E: that's great. You know auntie Ali speaks French?
B: really?
E: yes, she learnt French when we were in high school

*flashback*

I was walking through Rosewood high school towards the exit because it was the end of the day when I voice caught my attention. It was Ali's voice. I followed her voice and found her in the French room, walking around with her earphones on and repeating whatever she's hearing. By the sound of it and where she is, I assume it's French. When she saw me, she immediately smiled at me, the smile that makes me melt every time.

A: hi Em
E: hi Ali, watcha doing?
A: I'm practicing my French.
E: I can hear that but why?
A: So that one day, you and I could go to Paris.
E: sweet.

She tells me to come close to her and she takes postcards out of her backpack that she spreads on a table. They're all postcards of Paris.

E: oh, so you've already planned the trip?
A: yeah and you want to know something?
E: what?
A: you would look so good on top of the Eiffel tower, wind in your hair.

I look at her and smile, she's the cutest human being. I suddenly want to grab a postcard to look closely and at the same moment, she does too. Our hands brush together and oh god, she has the softest hands ever. I felt an electric pulse and immediately took my hand back. She then gathers her postcards again and the dream is over.

E: how long do you plan on going for?
A: how about forever?

*end of flashback*

B: why didn't you move ?
E: it's complicated buddy.
B: yeah adults are very complicated.

He then let it go and focused back on the movie. He's right though, why did we never move to Paris? It was our dream as teenagers.
