VICTOR
I was pissed off to see her talking to that little bitch who is a good friend of Trenton's and even though she didn't know, it wasn't okay.
That's why I looked in his direction and he knew my bike and knew it was me underneath the helmet so I'm glad he took the warning and left.
When she looked at me though, I couldn't help but feel our eyes lock with each others even though she couldn't see my eyes, I could tell she felt me looking at her.
Then it came time to race and I did exactly what I've been doing for a while and won.
I had noticed that Trenton didn't show up which was good, he knew better.
After I was finished with the race and took off my helmet then winked and smiled at Saige, I thought it was funny and cute as she seemed to have looked behind her as if I was looking at someone else.
"We should go to the restaurant and celebrate!" Javier suggests.
Everyone that were invited to join us began getting on their bikes and heading to their cars except for that Javier asked Maritza to go with him on the back of his motorcycle and I looked at Saige and held out my helmet.
"Uh, I don't think that's a good idea." She nervously says as she tucks some hair behind her ears.
"Why not? You'll be safe, I promise." I insist.
"Doesn't that have a weight limit?" She asks.
"Trust me, you are nowhere near the limit." I tell her while trying to not be rude in laughing because I knew she was seriously concerned.
"Come on, I'm starving." Maritza says.
"Okay." Saige finally agrees.
I smile and she takes the helmet from my hand and puts it on. Which seems to fit really good.
"Here." I mention as I hold out my hand to have her get on.
She hops on and before I turned the motor on, she asked me something.
"What about you? Shouldn't you be wearing a helmet also?" She asks.
"I'll be fine. But you better hold on tight." I tell her while revving up the engine.
I feel her start to wrap both her arms tightly around me.
"Is that too tight?" She asks.
"Nope. It's perfect." I smile at her while looking over my shoulder at her.
We all next start heading towards our parents restaurant.
Throughout the ride over, I couldn't help but think about how good this felt. It's been a long time since I have had a girl on my bike that I actually knew their name and cared about having on the back. Usually, it's rarely any girl I ever let ride with me.
Once we arrive and head inside, my sister and I head on back towards the kitchen and tell everyone to sit down while her and I make some food.
Halfway through cooking, we hear Saige ask us if she could help.
"Yeah actually, can you help chop some of these bell peppers up por favor?" She asks.
"Of course." Saige replies as she walks up next to Maritza who gives her a knife and she begins cutting them up.
I couldn't say anything but there were a few times while cooking I was distracted by looking at Saige that I almost burned the meat.
Finally after we were finished, we all walked out and had ourselves a good late night meal with Saige sitting next to me while Javier and Maritza sat beside each other in which I already knew they were into each other, I'm not blind. However, I decided I want to wait until they tell me so that I can mess with them and act all mad.
The dinner was delicious of course and we all sat around laughing, talking in both Spanish and English but the only person I cared about was Saige.
I noticed that even when we spoke in Spanish and she had no clue in what we were saying, I could tell she intently listened in anyways.
This girl is something else, I'm discovering.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
