Chapter 3 ~ Lovely (Includes Swearing)

       Spinel let go after holding me in her arms, quite tightly, I must say. Why is she leaning in? Oh..is she gonna...

I wake up. Damn, that was going to be kinda nice...but wait, was the whole thing a dream, or..? I look to my left, and Spinel is asleep on her bed. I go close to her body and begin touching her face. I keep poking it until she grabs my hand and groans.
"Ugggggggh...shortie, wahT tHe hell?" Spinel groaned, half asleep. "I'Maa kiK yoUr aHsss later.."

I left her alone, and went to the restroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face with a special face wash my maid, Bernadette, sent me. This felt weird on my skin...hmm...wait, it's burning....oh SHIT! I quickly grab a towel and douse it with water. I scrub my face as hard as I could, then looked in the mirror. There are little red bumps everywhere..I can't  go like...this. I peek to see if Spinel is still sleeping. Her bed is empty, thank god. I would do anything for her not to look at my face right now.

I get in my bed and get on my laptop. I go on YouTube and begin watching some <insert your favorite show>.

A few hours later...

I hear someone coming to the door. I stuffed my face with a pillow and pretended to sleep.

"SHORTIE!"
I quickly held my breath as I heard Spinel's footsteps come closer to me.

Silence.

Nothing but silence.

Her breath is quiet, but audible.

How long can I hold my breath?

Not for very long, because after a few minutes, I let out a huge exhale.

Spinel turned her head slowly as she was about to leave.
