Chapter 26 ~ Winter Buddies

Right now, it was freezing outside.

The skies were dark, the wind blew harder than—...I decide not to mention. My mind is so dirty....

Currently, I was lazing around in my room. I miss Spinel. She lived an hour away.

Should I go visit her?

Too lazy for that.

The silver fan spun around in a fast motion. I laid on my bed, flat on my stomach. I felt the air hit my back, as I was wearing a spaghetti strapped shirt with some shorts. Ugh...I'm so bored. And cold. I should turn the fan off.

I walk over to the switch and press the button.

Nothing happened.

"Why isn't the fan turning off?" I said out loud.

I began flipping the switch on and off.

On and off.

Her emotions are on and off.

Ugh, Spinel, look what you've done to me. I need friends.

Yeah, you know what, I'm gonna go ask Pearl and her trio if we can hang out.

I'm interrupted of course, by my phone ringing. I quickly press "Answer" without looking.

I scream into the device, thinking that there was a telemarketer.

"FOR THE LAST TIME KAREN I DO NOT CARE ABOUT BILLY'S GIRLFRIEND'S COUSIN'S THIGH ACNE!!"

Suddenly, I heard laughter at the end of the phone. That's good, I wanted to brighten this person's day. I glance down at my phone and...

Oh. It's Amethyst.

"H—pfffftHAHAH, Hi Y/N—BAHAHAHAHA, Y/N what the hel—HRUWJSIAEDUFUGJEHEEEEEE..."

Unholy screeches could be heard, also an angry bird?
After a few moments, Amethyst calms down.

"Hey, Y/N," She huffed. "I..wow, are you okay?" She asks, almost starting to laugh again.

"I should be asking that to you." I let out a small giggle and ask, "So what's up?"

"Well, Pearl and I were wondering if ya would like to come hang with us?" Amethyst replied nonchalantly.

"Hmm, sure, what time?"

"3:00 PM. That good?"

"Sure." I answer.

"See ya then." Amethyst hangs up.

Well, I guess they beat me to asking. I should pick an outfit.

After showering, combing my hair, and then putting on a black hoodie with some dark-magenta leggings.

I suddenly hear my phone make a "ding" sound.

Amethyst; 1:54 PM: Hey kid Pinks joining us, ur girlfriend will be there

You; 1:57 PM: that's no different -_- I'll be there soon, tell her I'm not showing up tho
