Chapter 16 ~ Yes!

"E..eh....wh-WHAT?!" I scream.

"Shhh, shortie, it's yes or no." Spinel puts her finger up to my mouth. "So, what's your answer?"

"I....yes." I beam. "Yes, yes, yes!"

"Okay, okay, I heard ya.." Spinel sighs, grinning from ear to ear.

"So...what do girlfriends do?" I ask to break the silence.
"Pffffft, what do you think, idiot?" Spinel replies. Strangely, she can't stop being so...bubbly.
"Uhm...they uh....erm...ehehe.." I nervously fiddle with my thumbs.
"What, you really don't know?" She asks, surprised. "Well...I guess they do...this." Spinel grabs my tie and gently kisses my lips. We hold this for a few seconds, until I pull away (does this count as lime?).

"Um...how about we start a little...slower?" I ask.
"Sure, girlfrieeeeend. Heeheee!" Spinel smirks. "Let's go to the amusement park on...Saturday, at 7:00PM sharp."
"Uh...yeah, okay! Sure!" I reluctantly agree.

After a few hours of talking, I bid Spinel goodbye, and head to my car. I get back to the dorms, and take the elevator to the tenth floor. As I'm walking to my dorm room, I notice someone behind me. I turn around.

No one is there. It's just me.

I sigh. I'm going crazy, aren't I? Good, another thing to add to my problem list.

"Hey there...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)." A Cheeto puff is behind me. What does she want?
"Oh, hey...uh...Jaaaas..per?" I say, wondering what her name was. Wasn't this the girl who sexually harassed me?
"Hey, whatever your name was. Whatcha doing?" She asks.
"Oh, y'know, just...walking back to my dorm. What are you doing?" The aura in this hallway doesn't seem very friendly.
"I'm...waiting for a friend." She replied.
".....well, I'll leave you to it." I quickly turned the key into the hole and opened the door. I walked inside, and Jasper hurried behind me, closing the door.

"H-hey...um...what are...you...doing?" I ask, scared. I really don't like where this is going. Jasper walked over to Spinel's bed on the other side of the room for a second, looking like she'd placed something down. But nothing's there....

Jasper came closer, and closer, until my back hit a wall. What was she gonna do? Crap, how do I get out of this?

Only one word came to my mind.

Spinel. She was always there to protect me. But now...I don't know what to do.
