That's how Pink remembers it, anyway.
She got up, and went back to the dorms.

"At least she's happy." She mumbled, then gave a small smile towards the ground.

Back to us, this other point of view was getting uncomfortable.

I feel guilty, for some reason. Is Pink angry at me for something I did? I don't undertand, she's being strange. Maybe she's just tense about Spinel.

I am too.

I'll visit her tomorrow. I get into my bed and close my eyes. The room feels empty without her.

Cut to after-school...

Okay, I've just finished my homework. Time to visit.....my girlfriend. Oh god, that felt weird. I don't want to upset her. What if she doesn't want to see me?
I mean, why would she be mad? I don't know. She didn't seem very friendly during the little fight with Jasper.

Hey, wait. How'd she escape the hospital? I mean....the fact she did that, I'm a little proud. Of course, it's wrong and she really should've had more control over her emotions and actions.

Oh, here I am.

Room 269.

Yep, this is it.

I walk in. There's Spinel, facing the window, trying to avoid me. It's alright, I shouldn't have came.

I turn to face the door. I almost open the door, when she finally speaks.

"Hey! You're not just gonna leave, are ya?" She asks, irritated with a hint of sadness.
"Well, it's not like we're speaking or anything. So, what's up recently? You've been on and off. It's so weird, I'm scared about your future. I just....want something good to happen to you." I reply.

"Hey....shortie....

you are the happiest thing to ever happen to me." She mumbles, then blushes.
"Well, you're the most stressful thing that's ever happened to me." I said to lighten the mood.
"Pfft, shut up! You're the most annoying thing thats ever happened to me!" Spinel retaliated.

This continued for 10 minutes.

"You're the most disappointing thing to happen to me!"
"You're the most...." Spinel yawned. "crazy thing to happen to...meee..." Spinel fell asleep.

I pet her head, and set her head down on the pillow. I pull the light blue blanket over her shivering body.

"Goodnight, sweetheart." I whisper in her ear.
