Exactly one year later Analise stood in front of the massive glass window which was decorated with flowers and streamers she laughed quietly remembering that Richard told her everything would be on the same day so they would only ever have to remember one anniversary. Looking down at all the people excited about her wedding, she was scared and excited and didn't want to disappoint anyone; most importantly, she did not want to hurt Richard in any way. She was ready, and even though her mind still belonged to Francis, she knew in her heart that he was only going to hurt her more and make her sadder. She had accepted that she needed to fight for herself and try with Richard, even though that felt like an impossible task at the moment.
"Ready?" Ana walked in with a massive smile on her face. She looked at Analise, and her breath caught. "You look perfect... I can imagine that King Richard's heart will fly when he sees you!" she laughed looking at her princess with so much adoration.
Analise laughed and turned to the mirror with a big smile. She was wearing a dress inspired by her favorite princess and roses in her hair. She loved her look and the roses she wore meant the world to her because Richard had gone out and picked them himself for her flower crown. As a kid, she had told him that the day, she got married more than anything she wanted her flower crown even if she didn't have her tiara the flowers had to be there. He had awoken early on his wedding day and hand-picked each rose for her to wear. She had on the tiara, but her flower crown made her the happiest. She smiled at it and realized just how much Richard loved her and resented herself a little for not letting go of a man who all he did was hurt her.
"Let's do this..." she smiled walking to the entrance of the church and as she took in the crowd she saw him there, and her breath caught a little. He looked so handsome with his suit and his crown and a smile that could clear the whole room. She took a breath and slowly made her way to him, knowing that the smile was for her but hurting because she knew her heart was not all in this.
He smiled, holding her eyes the whole time, and slowly the tears came to his eyes because he could not believe this was really happening his heart was filled with so much love it felt like it would burst. He smiled at her and took her hand in his feeling like the luckiest man there ever lived because he was going to marry the most beautiful girl in the world and he would make to make her the happiest person there ever lived. He would spend his life thanking his God and any God who would be willing to listen. He knew he was in for a long road because her heart was not his, but he believed with everything in his heart and soul that she just needed time and she could love him. If she loved him just a fraction of what he did she would be happier than words could express.
