Chapter 19

"Annalise it has been weeks can we move on from this?" Richard sat at the edge of his bed feeling exhausted from the lack of sleep he could not sleep without having her wrapped around him he missed her and he was missing all the moments with his child.

Annalise sat on the bed breast feeding the baby. "A woman kissed you Richard and she is still in my home what do you want me to say..."

"She is a friend and I explained what happened..." he let out a breath of frustration.

"Richard a woman kissed you and you haven't kicked her out!" Annalise whispered yelled at him because the baby was asleep.

"You Annalise do not tell me who gets to stay in MY castle!" he yelled scaring both Annalise and the baby and regretted immediately as he watched Annalise's eyes begin to water and his son cry out. 

"Your right this is your castle... and better yet you can be with whoever you want and defend whoever you want..."

"My castle and my room I will be coming back in here and I am done playing your games you are my wife and he is MY son... do you understand me!" he grabbed her arm and she flinched at the pain.

"Your right no more games..." Annalise looked at him and he saw the pain in her eyes and the anger.

"Finally," he flinched at the bruise that was already forming on her arm and dread and regret began forming in his chest and he walked slowly to her trying to get closer to her. Ready to apologize he was letting his pride and frustration get to him when this should be the happiest times in their lives. 

She raised her hand as she stood from the bed trying to sooth the baby "We are thru Richard we will run our kingdoms and raise our son... but between you and I there will be nothing. You are free to fuck whoever you want." She rocked the baby burping him. "You are right this is your room... I will have our things moved in to the west wing and our sons' room will always be open to you... you are after all his father." She walked to the door. "you made your choice sire and it is done and as your fucking who you deem worthy, I will do the same." She walked out and did not look back once as she felt her heart shatter and she tried her best to harden it, no more would she waste her tears on a man who was not worth it.

Richard was sitting in his office stressing over his situation with Annalise when he heard her laughing and his baby boy laughing. He walked slowly to his window and felt rage in his heart his guard named Antonio was standing with the queen laying a blanket while she held their son, he laid it down and put her picnic basket and put an umbrella for them and he stood to the side after telling her another joke. He bowed and walked a distance away to the castle wall where he became invisible again. Annalise laid their son down who was all smiles and playing with his hands holding her hair between his fingers.

He slowly opened his window wanting to really hear her with him "Who is the most handsome prince there has ever been..." she tickled him, and he laughed holding his moms face making baby noises. "You are baby... you are my whole life baby!" she picked him up and kissed him everywhere as his son laughed. He should be down there this moment made him fall more in love with his wife and hate his stubbornness even more.

Analise had a huge smile as George approached and sat on the floor with her just like a grandpa would and she handed the baby to him and he began to play with him. Richard had never envied a man more in his life to see the love and kindness in her eyes for him.

Richard knew he was being stubborn keeping Kathrine in the castle, but he did not like that she just wanted to dictate what went on in his castle even if she was the queen. As he stared, he wondered why he was being so stubborn when he was not this way, but he figured it had to do with the fact that he always gave in to her way. He was soft when it came to her and a king should never be soft. He loved her and needed to sort things because he missed his wife with his whole life. He would speak to Kathrine today and she would have to leave in the morning.

Little did king Richard know that plans had been made decisions were done and that there was already evil lurking in his castle waiting to pounce.
