Chapter 17

"Richard..." Analise fell to her knees again screaming out silently trying to get her breath and gain to stand again. She had been screaming in her room and instantly regretted that she had sent away the maids in the night out of sheer hormonal frustration. She took a deep breath and walked again. When she finally reached his study, she fell again opening the door thankful that she had made it and her heart broke as she fell in and saw Richard sitting with a woman leaning over kissing him.

She cried out again as her water broke and her two maids Leslie and Natalie ran up finally hearing her scream and looked at the king shocked as he pushed the women away as they tried to pick her up but her pain was too much to allow them to help. The queen was covered in her water and tears running down her face at the pain of her child arriving and the betrayal of one of the only people she truly trusted in the world. the only person she had in this world besides her child because her parents were gone now and she was desperate to have them with her right now. 

"Analise..." the king ran up to her and she shoved him off hard and he felt hurt at her action understanding her confusion.

"Do not touch me you...Ahhh." She flinched falling lower to the ground again and crying out, but she would not let Richard touch her. "Natalie get George and Antonio please." Annalise watched Natalie run down the hall as fast as she could.

"Annalise I can help you my queen..." he spoke softly at her trying his best to get close to her to help.

"Stay the hell away, as far away from me as possible I am no longer your queen...Ahhh... I need George please... how could you possibly do this to me! To me! After everything..." her tears would not stop, and she felt the need to push as she lay her head on the floor screaming out silently.

The women standing in the office had a huge smug smile on her face her mission was complete and the pay load would be amazing, she honestly never expected it to work out so perfectly. "Are you okay Analise?" she mocked.

"You do not address me with such disrespect I am your queen you worthless bitch unless you want me to put you were you belong... Ahhh." Analise doubled over and screamed in agony.

"I..." she lost her smugness.

"Richard, I am in so much pain right now but if you do not shut her up, I swear will!" Richard hesitated for a second and immediately regretted it as he saw the look of betrayal on Annalise's eyes burn.

"Katharine please stop talking and I will deal with you later..." the king said with quiet rage.

"Richard... I..."

"Did she just call you Richard?" Annalise looked at the king and venom filled her mouth and Richard flinched at the hatred in her eyes.

Annalise shoved her face to the floor again and screamed silently with all the pain in her heart and the pain her child coming was causing her.

Antonio ran up and slid in next to the queen "My queen..." he quickly tried to grab her.

"George..." she looked over Antonio's shoulder "Run and get the doctor and take him to my bedroom not the kings but my bedroom and Antonio please carry me please... I cannot do this anymore." She put her face on the floor and cried out silently again.

The king pulled her up and she pushed him off. "Antonio please..." she waited, and Antonio bowed and picked her up before running out of the office towards the bedroom with him in her arms.

As they took her into the bedroom, she called her guards that were from her kingdom "Keep that man out of my room..." she looked at Richard with hate.

"Annalise wait..." he took a step towards her but her guards stood in front of him blocking his way.

"No! Go and fuck your whore and leave me alone!" she cried out as they set her up, she had sweat running down her body and the tears would not stop.

"Everyone out I will get out after I speak to the queen." Richard said with all the authority that he knew he had.

As soon as everyone got out, he locked the door "Have I ever given you a reason to doubt me! Why would you start now when the biggest moment in our life's is about to happen?"

"I walked in and saw you kissing her!" she had more tears in her eyes and Richard watched as she hunched over in pain with a silent scream it was killing him to see her that way and not be able to help her because she would not allow it but he knew he was to blame because that women should have never been able to get near but she had tricked him. He felt pain at the idea of her not allowing him to hold her when she was in so much pain. 

"Analise she kissed me! You know damn well there is no one in this world that means anything remotely to me... even my closet people mean nothing compared to you... have you not understood that." Richard felt frustrated and heartache at her pain all he wanted was to hold her hand. "Please Analise let us enjoy the coming of the world this is our first born."

"Is that where you go every night!" Analise screamed thru the pain.

"Every night I lay in bed with you and then go to my study to work not anything else and since you came back, I have not even done that because you are my life all my work has piled up!" he screamed frustrated and then regretted it as he saw more tears come out. He could not blame her months before he had lost his mind because Francis had hugged her and she had walked into a kiss. 

Annalise screamed out and pushed with everything, she knew deep down that Richard would rather die than hurt her, but this would not go away so easily she was hurt and betrayed. "I have a lot of questions for you! Do you hear me we will talk about this until I grow bored with the details but right now Richard, I need to give birth to your baby because I feel like I am dying!"

"Analise let's do this my queen together!" he took her hand and she started pushing. "I want us to do this alone my queen if you agree."

"I do not forgive you king Richard and honestly I do not know that I ever will, but I need someone to hold my hand and make sure our baby is okay..." she pushed harder and harder and the sweet began to drip down her body and mixed with her tears.

After a while Analise breathed out as she heard the cry she had been waiting to hear for months.

Richard grabbed a blanket and took his child from the doctor and as it was placed in his arms as he cried and handed him to Analise.

"Our perfect King..." Richard handed him over and felt the most joy he had ever felt in his life as he looked at his wife holding his baby, holding the fruit of their love.

Analise took the baby in her arms and kissed his head "Our little Richard... Richard Edward" she cried tears of happiness and then turned to Richard with hate "Thank you for your help... you can let them in and get out now." She said with indifference in her eyes and Richard felt like he was stabbed in his heart.

"Analise this is my child as well..."

"You should have thought that before you had a woman kissing your lips... your lips that are mine while I was practically dying trying to reach you... I won't repeat myself get out before I have you thrown out."

"Annalise, I am not some idiot you can threaten... I am your king!" he slammed his hand onto a table and the baby cried out.

"A foolish king, a stupid king who forgets I am the Queen of this land as much as he is and my guards do not work for you, are not loyal to death to you but to me so get out and don't make me disrespect you... go find your whore." Analise turned to the baby and rocked him with tears running down her face.

Richard looked at her shocked she was always strong willed but from the moment her heart opened to him she had changed and she was vulnerable around him and admitted to needing him... the look of love that he had come to cherish was nowhere to be seen only pain was directed at him.
