"It has been two weeks!" Analise screamed out in frustration feeling the tightness in her heart continue to grow.
"Your majesty you must remain calm... it is not good for you... you just buried your parents and have been thru so much emotionally. We are helping him as best we can."
Analise stood there looking down at her hands in Richards. Nothing mattered at this moment more than him getting better. She knew they still had an uphill climb, but she was willing to really try if it meant that they could be together, and she could make him a fraction of how happy that he had always tried to make her. She had buried her parents that morning it was a grand event and everyone from everywhere came and she realized that she was all alone except Richard and she needed him this made her realize her feeling and emotions and now she just wanted him here with her. She knew he would hurt for her because her father had always been a role model to him.
"Richard honey how about you wake up now?" she wiped her tears with the back of his hand. "I am so sorry about everything I just need you to please wake up... I need you...I am more alone now than ever."
Analise stared into the corner of the room feeling pain and regret for everything she had put him thru. This was above else her best friend and she had betrayed him in all the things she had promised him. She had promised fidelity and love and for her to try and she had not even tried but she had already made herself and him a promise that if he woke up he would never feel alone or the neglect again because she was putting all her love and everything into making him the happiest man that ever lived as long as he woke up.
"You are too beautiful to cry my queen you should only smile..." Richard smiled looking up but Analise could see the pain in his eyes and his eyes did not shine as bright.
"You are finally awake." She jumped up and kissed his cheek in her excitement she did not catch how he flinched and as she ran out to get the doctor, she did not notice how his eyes went hard.
As the doctors walked out after announcing he would be fine, she walked back up to him excited as could ever be. "Okay look I have been thinking for a few days now since you have been asleep that I have not given you a real chance that I have not allowed Francis to leave my heart and I am willing to try if you are willing to give me the chance... so much has happened and I need to tell you some bad news when you are ready for it..."
"I am sorry Analise but I will not put myself thru that for you anymore because it is unfair of you to hurt me this way I know what I signed up for I understood but you also promised me you would try." He flinched "I should head to my room... I need rest and I want to be alone." She stood after he stood and tried to help him, but he flinched away and walked out without turning back.
She leaned back in her bed and cried silently into the pillow with her hard heart she had managed to make one of the greatest men she knew turn hard and made him turn his back on her. She took a filling breath and looked at her night stand and stood and walked up to the picture of him and her on their wedding day smiling wide at each other. Maybe she was not in love with him, but she loved him more than words could describe, and she could fall in love with him if she truly tried either way Francis was not the boy she had fallen in love with anymore.
