Analise was on the ground with her face on the dirt crying in despair and Richard could do nothing because he knew this was his fault. He had been a stubborn man, he had been an asshole and kept Kathrine here instead of doing what was right and repairing his marriage. He had allowed his stubbornness to destroy his perfect wife and himself, but he knew he could not shed not even one tear, no king Richard deserved the pain he was in and he did not deserve it the relief of crying.

"Your Majesty..." George attempted to pick her up slowly, but she was distraught holding the balled-up blanket in her hands.

"George where is he please..." she looked at Richard and crawled towards him "Please... Please I don't care if you want to make her your queen... I will leave and get out of your way... where is my baby... where is Edward please..." Analise was sobbing heart wrenching sobs wondering if her little boy was ok if they were feeding and carrying for him like only she could.

Richard kneeled by her "I will find him I swear..."

"Your whore took him... please... I can't... I can't... I... I can't live without him please..." Analise cried into the ground until she passed out from exhaustion and would let no one near her even in her unconscious state she would not let anyone near her.

Richard picked her up and tears ran down his face when he finally reached their bedroom as he saw her face full of pain even in sleep. "I will find him I swear..."

Analise woke up the next morning and cried she cried more than she had ever cried. She was heartbroken when her parents died but she had not cried like this. The pain radiated from every fiber of her being and she was in excruciating pain she had never felt something so terrible.

For two weeks all Analise did was cry she had not even drink or eat anything unless Richard forced her and it was killing Richard, he knew there was no one to blame but himself. If he had been a good humble man, he would have kicked Kathrine out the moment she kissed him, and his son would be perfectly okay in his wife arms. Instead she was on the floor in his son's room crying into a blanket day and night.

"Annalise..." he whispered softly.

She jumped from the ground "Tell me you found him please... please." She was crying harder and Richard noticed how thin she looked and the hollow look in her eyes. This was a shell of the women he had married and he had no one to blame but himself.

"I am so sorry..." Richard looked down to avoid seeing her pain and hope leave. "But I swear I will find him."

Analise was on the floor in Edwards's room when she received the call.

"I have your sweet little boy..." she heard that voice.

"Please tell me where he is... I will give you anything even my own life just please." Annalise cried and George ran to find the king figuring out what was about to happen he needed the king to come and stop her from doing something stupid.

"I believe you know where I am... your life for your child's... and hey I might let you keep him maybe he can be our heir... I can be his daddy." the voice spoke quietly. Annalise felt rage, hope and sorrow all in one but her sons life mattered more than her own and she was out of the castle before George could return with the king.

"Where is she!" Richard slammed his fist against the wall and cried out in anguish first his son and now his wife.

Richard walked to his window and looked down and remember how what seemed like just yesterday he had watched his wife and son down there. They had been searching high and low and there was no trace of who, how or why his son and wife had been taken they had both been gone for two weeks now. George walked in and placed a cup of tea at his desk bowed and walked to the door without a word.

"George..." Richard spoke softly his voice filled with sorrow.

"Sire?" George turned but did not meet his eyes.

"George I am... I know this is all my fault..."

"I told you sire... even that day I told you that girl needed to leave, and your marriage needed to be repaired before heartbreak came... and now look at us." George wiped his tears. "I miss our girl sire with all my heart... she had become like a daughter, and Edward is so special... I do hope they are okay and being cared for." George bowed and, without a second to spare, walked out before Richard could speak.

Richard hated himself he saw the pain in everyone's eyes and he knew there was no one to blame but himself for the pain all he and his kingdom was in.
