.. they just stand and stare at each other for a couple moments. "it's been different around without you and Winn" Kara says trying to break the silence. "yeah.." mon-el replies.
"So um.. you came to the future just to save me?" Mon-el Asks
"Yea, because It would be a pretty boring life with you dead!" Kara says jokingly
Mon-el laughs along with her, "well, nothing would really change for you. We live in different times!" He adds.
"I know. But I care about you too much for you to die. Plus I missed you.." Kara replies stepping a little closer to him looking deeply into his eyes.
"Did I ever tell you that you have the most beautiful eyes. Like comets." mon-el says softly.
They both pause for a moment just basking in the moment. Until Kara breaks the silence saying, "oh just kiss me you fool!" As she goes onto her tippy toes, wraps her arms around his neck and they begin to kiss.
"Could you have been a little more obvious?!" Mon-el asks jokingly with his arms still around her waist.
Kara laughs, "c'mon it had been three years since we last kissed. I'm not sure how I even survived! I've missed it so much" Kara replies with a huge smile plastered on her face.
They walk out into the main area again with mischievous smiles on their faces. Nia leans over to Kara and whispers, "what happened in there?!" "Oh nothing." Kara replies smiling and looks and mon-el. "My god. You guys kissed." Winn says looking at the security cameras. "Winn!" Kara and mon-el day in unison. "It's not that big of a surprise. It was bound to happen sooner or later." Winn says.
Mon-el grabs Kara's hand. "Yes! And I'm glad it happened sooner because I don't know how much longer we could wait!" They smile at each other and mon-el says,"let's get a drink. We have lots to catch up on!" Kara smiles and follows him,"I'd love that!" Nia looks at Winn in shock and back at Kara and mon-el as they walk out of the room.
