Karamel: another chance

Part 40

Kara waking up in the cell again, this time the same one as mon-el. mon-el is just sitting in his cell just watching Kara. "Morning, sunshine." He says jokingly. Kara scoots over to him and sits next to him. He puts his arm around he and kisses her head.

 "How long was I knocked out for?" She asks. "About 3 hours." He replies. "I'm so tired." Kara says. "I know. Just rest." Mon-el says. She lays her head on his shoulder and starts to fall asleep. He starts to fall asleep too until Brainiac and Lena walk in. 

"Naptime's over." Lena says. Opening up the cell. Brainiac walks in and grabs mon-el. "What's going on?!" Kara asks. 

She runs up and tries to stop Brainiac from taking mon-el, but Lena turns on the kryptonite again. Kara falls to the ground again. Every time the kryptonite turns on it makes her weaker than the last time.

 "I told you, you'd pay for what you did to me." Lena says. "It's gonna be okay Kara." Mon-el reassures her and brainiac ties him up then walks out of the room. 

"Please! He's done nothing. Take me instead. He is innocent. Just let him go!" Kara pleads. "No." Lena says bluntly. "Now, I'm going to make him suffer. Kill him. And you, Kara Matthews, you're going to watch." Lena says.

 " Lee, I know I hurt you. And I'm sorry for that. But I did it to protect you. There were so many times I tried to tell you, but I couldn't. I get that you're angry at me and you have every right to be. But don't punish him for that. He has done nothing. You can do anything you want to me. You can hurt me, beat me down, break me, anything. Just don't hurt him. Lena, I still see the good in you. I know how hard you've worked to move out of the Luthor stereotype that everyone thinks you are and become your own person. A wonderful person and I'm so proud that you became that. But if you do this, you'll just be joining the rest of your family and become a criminal. And evil. You'll be a true Luthor. I know that you don't want that. I know You're just confused and hurt by what I did to you. Please, just let him go, lee. I don't want to loose you, but if you do this there will be no chance that our friendship will survive. I still see the good inside of you! I am so sorry for lying to you, but Lena you have let him go." Kara says. 

 Lena moves over to Kara and starts to tear up. "How do I get out of it? Brainiac will just come kill me himself" She asks.

 "If you let me out of the cell, I promise I will help you get free and keep you safe from him." Kara says. Lena pauses for a moment to think then looks at Kara. "Okay." She says.

 Lena unlocks kara's cell and Kara gives Lena a hug. Then she runs over and frees Mon-el. "Okay. Let's go before brainiac comes." Kara says grabbing Lena and they fly up the break the ceiling and fly to L-Corp.

 Kara, mon-el, and Lena arrive at lenas office. "I'm so sorry for what I've done. I get that you were just trying to protect me by keeping your identity a secret" Lena says. 

"It's okay, lee. I'm sorry that I wasn't the one to tell you who I really was." Kara replies. "Is there anything else you need?" she adds. "No. Thank you for saving me." Lena says. 

"I promise I will come and save you every time. Let me know if Brainiac comes. I'll be ready to end him for good." Kara says as she walks over and gives Lena a hug then flys away.
