—————————IN THE DEO—————————————————
Brainy is sitting in the main area working on a computer. He grabs his head and starts to scream in pain and falls to the ground.
J'onn and Alex run in to brainy's side. "What's going on!? Alex asks as brainy continues to scream. Moments later he stops. Brainy stands up and looks around.
"What was tha-" he starts to say before he falls to the ground again unconscious.
"Brainy!?" Alex yells. "What happened to him?" J'onn Asks."I'll be right back. Just make sure nothing else happens while I'm gone!" Alex says as she runs out of the DEO.
———————-KARAS LOFT—————————————————
"C'mon, Kara. Where did you put it!?" Alex asks as she rummages through the drawers in the kitchen.
She runs to the bedroom and opens a drawer from her dresser. It's filled with pictures of mon-el and her, notes he'd written her, the book 'Romeo and Juliet', the magazine she gave him, a rose from when mxyzptlk came, and many more things.
"Oh, Kara.." alex says as she looks in the drawer. She digs through the stuff in there and finds mon-el's legion ring under a picture of them someone took on Argo of Kara and mon-el holding hands. "What the?" She picks up the photo and underneath she finds a stack of more pictures from Argo. One of them with Val. One of Kara next to the Dar-essa with her mother. One of Kara and Mon-el with Theara and her husband, And more.
"When was this?" Alex whispered to herself as she flips through the photos. She looks down and sees the legion ring remembering why she came and puts the pictures back in the drawer then walks out the door.
—————————-BACK AT THE DEO————————————————
"I've got it!! But I don't know how to use it." Alex says walking into the medbay where brainy is. "What is it" J'onn asks.
"It's Mon-els legion ring that he gave to Kara when he left. It's supposed to be a way to get ahold of him, I just don't know how.." Alex says investigating at the ring.
She looks over and sees a kryptonian cash crystal. "There!" Alex says walking over and grabbing it. "mon-el did this once. Maybe it will work again!" She says looking hopeful. She puts the ring on then holds the crystal up to it and the crystal begins to glow.
—————LEGION BASE——————————————————————
Kara, mon-el, Winn, and Nia are eating breakfast. Kara begins to scream, plugging her ears.
"Make it stop!!" Kara yells as she falls to the ground, continuing to scream in pain.
Mon-el rushes to her side, "What's happening to her?!" He Asks looking at Winn
"I- I don't know.." Winn says looking down at Kara as she continues to scream.
-DEO-
"is it not working? Let me try this" Alex asks as she turns the Crystal which makes the noise Kara hears louder and sharper.
-LEGION BASE-
Kara is still on the floor and she begins to scream even louder.
"Make it stop!! Please!!! OWW!!" Kara says plugging her ears tighter.
"What is wrong Kara!?" Mon-el asks Kara. "So... Loud.." she says as she starts to become unconscious. Kara passes out.
-DEO-
Alex takes the crystal off the ring. "I guess it didn't work." She says setting the crystal down. "What do we do now?!" Alex asks.
"We wait. See if his condition changes." J'onn replies.
