Karamel: another chance

Mon-el wakes up in a cell. He turns to his left and sees Lena drag Kara into a cell next to his and push her in and Kara falls to the ground, still unconscious.

 "Kara!!" Mon-el yells Moving over to her. "Lena?! What did you do to her." Mon-el asks angrily. "Oh, just about the same that happened to you.." Lena says with a little smirk then walks away. 

"Kara? Kara. Can you hear me?!" Mon-el says trying to wake her up. Kara wakes up and tries to stand up but then falls back to ground yelling in pain. 

"What did they do to you?!" Mon-el asks her. "Someone stabbed me in the leg with a kryptonite knife.. I think there's a piece of it in my leg. It hurts like hell. And Lena! She knocked me out.. how did you get in here?!" She asks scooting over to the wall to rest her back on.

 "Someone stole a lady's purse. So I got it back for her, when I have it back she knocked me out and put some sort of drug in me, It's all still a bit hazy. And I woke up here. Also, those are power dampeners. So we are powerless... yaay." Mon-el says.

 "Wonderful.. I need to get this out of my leg!!" Kara says. She tried to get it out but the pain is too much. "Okay, maybe it can stay in for a bit." She says laying her head on Mon-els shoulder. "Where do you think we are?" Heasks. "I don't know.. maybe Cadmus?" Kara suggests.

 "Okay, that's enough talking." Brainiac says walking into the room. "It doesn't matter where you are. What matters is why you're here. I've been working with the lovely miss Luthor and we have a made a device that will get rid of all the AI's now and in the future too. Anyway. we need you, kara Zor-el to turn it on because it is much to powerful for us to use it ourselves." He continues. 

"Why would I ever do that." Kara says sitting up. "It's very simple. You see, if you do this you and your newlywed husband can go live a wonderful life together. Start that family you talked about. Adopt Melena and get that dog you wanted. If you don't, then you'll have to suffer. Well, not you exactly, but that little daxamite you love so much. So, which is it?" Brainiac says.

 "Don't do it, Kara. I'll be okay." Mon-el says to her. "Mon-el. I have to. It's the only way to keep you safe." Kara says.

 "I'll do it." She says. "One thing. You need to take this piece of kryptonite out of my leg." She adds. 

"Fair enough." Brainiac replies. He unlocks her cell and hits a button on a remote that completely dampens the power of the kryptonite so kara won't feel it. "There you go, now follow me." Brainiac says walking to the door. Kara follows him. 

"I'll be back okay. I love you." Kara says to mon-el as she walks out. "I love you too." He relies. The door shuts behind them.
