Kara and mon-el walk back in the DEO holding hands. Winn quickly runs up to mon-el and whispers "did you do it?" Mon-el smiles and gives a nod.
"Hey everybody! Uh, Quick thing Kara and I are engaged. Yes it's awesome, yes we're very happy, and your jealousy is appropriate. You can carry on now" Kara flops her head on his shoulder and laughs.
Winn runs up and yells "YES! AND I KNEW IT THE WHOLE TIME. I kept the secret. I kept the secret SO good. You didn't know! *points to someone* You didn't know! *points to someone else* And you didn't freaking know!*points to one last person* BUT I KNEW! Ohh. I did it. I did it."
"Winn.." mon-el cuts him off laughing. "Sorry I'm just excited! My two best Friends are getting married! congratulations, buddy!" Winn says.
Winn hugs Kara "And miss Kara! or should I say Mrs... mon-el? Zor-mon-el?" He adds.
"My name's going to be Mrs. Matthews." Kara explains with a smile.
Alex walks in ,"what's going on here? Did you guys get the virus we needed?" She asks.
"Yes! Here ya go" Kara says handing it to Alex with the hand she has the engagement ring on.
"Thanks." Alex says walking away.
Kara and everyone else looking shocked. "Alex!" Kara says waving with her left hand. Alex waves back."Yes Kara?" Alex asks.
Kara waves harder. "You okay?" Alex asks walking closer.
"Oh for goodness sakes.. *she sticks her hand in Alex's face* Me and mon-El are engaged!" Kara exclaims.
Alex's face lights up, she drops the virus, and hugs Kara,"OH MY GOODNESS!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!" She grabs Kara's face,"this is real right!?" Mon-el and Kara nod. "WOW. Tell me EVERYTHING! Let me see That ring!" Kara smiles and gives Alex her hand.
"Oh my god. Mon-el I can't believe you could afford this!!" Alex says in a soft voice Gazing at the ring.
"well, the main stone is actually from The necklace her mother gave her when she left krypton as a child." Mon-el says smiling at kara.
"Oh my god, you're so thoughtful, mon-el!" Alex says giving him a hug. "I'm just so happy!" Alex exclaims giving them both a hug!
"It was about time! And guess what?! I got a phone call today.. from the adoption agency.." Alex smiles,"I'm gonna get a little girl!!" She adds with the biggest smile on her face.
"Oh my god!! I'm so happy for you!!!" Kara shouts as she gives Alex another hug.
"Her name is Jenna, she's 5! She's been in foster care and the adoption agency for about 2 years. The lady I talked to on the phone, Kate, said that she just needs to be loved. Her father left and her mother thought Jenna would be happier with another family. Tomorrow I'm going to go meet her and possibly take her home too if it goes well!!" Alex says.
"That's so great, Alex!" Mon-el says.
As everyone talks, an indistinguishable figure sneaks in and steals the virus laying on the floor.
