"I have a promise to fulfill." Brainiac says standing up walking to Kara. "Get away from her!" Mon-el yells getting in front of Kara to protect her.
"Excuse me.." He says as he throws mon-el across the room. "MON-EL!!" Kara says running to him. Brainiac stops her,"up-bup-bup. You can't do that." Brainiac says grabbing Kara's neck.
"Please! Please don't do this! DONT HURT HER!" Mon-el pleads. "My apologies. But, you won't be able to live your lives together." Brainiac says as he lifts up and begins to choke Kara. Mon-el tries to get up but Brainiac uses his powers to keep mon-el on the ground as mon el pleads,"please, please. Take me instead just STOP HURTING HER!!"
"That's not the promise I made." Brainiac says as he continues to choke Kara as she struggles for air then takes out a Kryptonite knife. mon-el yells sees that and his heart stops.
"please don't do this! Please! Stop, don't hurt her anymore! I'll do anything! Take me instead, kill me!! Just Leave her alone!"Mon-el yells. Brainiac looks back at him and says,"she had a good run didn't she? Say your goodbyes."
He stabs her with the kryptonite sword in the chest while mon-el screams"NOOOOOO!" Brainiac drops her, then walks away as she dies. Mon-el is freed and runs up to Kara "kara, kara!, You're gonna be okay." Mon-el says holding her in his arms starting to cry.
Kara looks up at him weakly and says softly,"i love you, Mon-el... you're going to be alright." using her last little bit of strength to smile at him one last time.
"no, no no no. You're not going to die here! You're not going to die, not for a long time. Stay with me kara, stay with me please! C'mon Kara! HELP!! SOMEBODY HELP!!" Mon-el yells Barry runs in.
"Kara! What happened?!" Barry asks investigating what happened.
"Brainiac. He killed her.. he said it he had to fulfill a promise then he stabbed her with a kryptonite knife."mon-el says starting to hyperventilate.
"Please is there anything you can do to save her?!" Mon-el asks trying to calm himself. "I-I don't know what I can do.." Barry replies. "Can't you run back in time and.. and then we can do something different to save her?!" Mon-el asks hopefully.
"I wish I could. But when you go back in time and change something, it effects other people too. I'm really sorry, mon-el" Barry says to mon-el.
"Please, Barry! I can't loose her. What if the roles were reversed and she was iris. Barry, this is my wife. You should know better than anyone!" Mon-el pleads. "We're running out of time!" Mon-el yells with his voice breaking.
"O-okay.. I'll do it." Barry agrees. "Oh my god. Thank you!" Mon-el says taking a deep breath. Barry runs away to go back in time. "Kara? Kara! Can you hear me? It's mon-el. We're gonna save you!" Mon-el says to Kara's nearly lifeless body.
Barry starts running then a breach opens up and he jumps back in time to when brainiac is choking Kara.
"My apologies, mon-el. She had a good run, didn't she? Say your goodbyes." He pulls out the kryptonite knife but mon-el yells,"No!!" As he breaks what was holding him captive and runs up and grabs Kara. Barry punches brainiac and he passes out.
"I'm here. You're safe now, Kara." Mon-el tells to Kara as he kisses her forehead while Kara grasps for air.
