Karamel: another chance

Part 2

Kara walks into the DEO still shaken up by the dream she had through the night. 

"Hey!" Alex says joyfully. Kara quickly replies with "hi" 

"Kara, are you okay? What's wrong?" Alex asks looking concerned. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm fine. Any reports on robberies or something I can do." Kara says trying to change the subject.

"Nothing yet, it's only 9:00 in the morning. Also, something is obviously bothering you! You can tell me anything.. I'm you sista!" Alex says playfully with a little laugh, making Kara laugh too but then going back to her somber mood.

"It was just a dream I had last night" Kara says hesitantly. "What was the dream?" Alex asks.

"It was about mon-el. I'd had this dream before, just it had never gone this way before. Usually I walk down a peaceful path then mon-el comes and strokes my arm and y'know... we kiss. But that's aside from the point. Last night while I walked down the path, I was frightened by the voice of a man standing over mon-el's almost lifeless body and the man killed him... he has said something to him about "you could never be able to stop me" or something like that.. I don't know, it just seemed too real and I wasn't able to go back to sleep after that. Winn was in it too, and the figure looked somewhat like brainy."

"You said he looked like me?!" Brainy Chimes into the conversation. "Yes, but you in your more.... nature state." Kara replies. 

Nia walked over from standing beside the wall, "uh Kara.." she says quietly trying to to draw a lot of attention "I had that same dream. I recognized Winn from pictures you guys have showed me.. but I've never heated much about mon-el or seen him for that matter." She adds. Kara whips out her phone pulling up a picture she had of him standing in the DEO. 

"Daaaaang he's cute!! Yeah that's the one from my dream. Who is he anyway?" Nia asks. Kara Alex and brainy all look at each other and think of what to say. "He's her-" Alex begins to say before Kara cuts her off. "He's an old friend." Kara says scolding Alex with her eyes. "Anyway, we got off topic..  Nia you had the same dream?! Doesn't that mean that that's actually going to happen...?" Kara Asks. "Yea I did! And I'm not sure if that's going to happen, usually if I dream it then it will.. but I don't know" Nia states. "Then we have to go. We need to go help him!" Kara says obviously getting worried. "Hold up, where is he Anyway?! I thought he was dead or something" nia says looking confused. "He's in the 31st century. It's complicated." Kara says. 

"Kara, Nia said it herself she doesn't know if he's actually in trouble. Plus, we can't risk having you gone in the future in case a threat comes." J'onn says. Kara getting frustrated says,"J'onn, I know he needs help. The fact that me AND Nia had the same dream is not a coincidence. Plus, her powers are to dream the future. You know Mon-el. We can't let him die, J'onn. you stay back. I'll go. Someone needs to go help him!" J'onn looks at Kara the says. "Alright." Kara smiles and says,"thank you, J'onn." Nia pauses for a moment and says,"I'll go with you. You can't go alone." Kara looks at her and says,"Nia.. I don't know if y-" J'onn cuts her off,"I think It would be a good idea for dreamer to go with you. You don't know what your facing in the future and backup would be handy. You can take my ship.
