Her eyes peer past my rough edges.

She sees past all the darkness to see the light.

Her smile shines through the smoke and fog.

It warms me and makes everything clear.

Her voice soothes my thoughts and the beast in me.

She causes me to live in the moment and be without fear.

I long to cradle her in my arms.

To protect her and shield her from the darkness.

My heart wishes to take away her all of her pain.

To see her eyes lighten and feel her smile.

I want to hold her gaze becoming a part of her world.

Our worlds becoming one for a bit.

I desire to hold her hand letting her know I am here.

To lace our fingers together feeling close to her.

My lips covet to feel hers to give her a taste of my love.

To give her more and more as time passes.
