Once I was in the light of the brightest star.

I was growing and seeing more of the world.

I saw what I had forgotten and what I had never knew.

I felt like I was anew, washed clean of the filth of my past.

It was brief but it was beyond words.

I was pulled away by a broken planet.

A planet that inturn broke me.

I got back to my star but I was no longer wanted.

So I dwelt in the stars shadow to see if I was of any use.
