Chapter 5

Nnoitora headed over to the door, with every intention of letting his sister inside. However upon opening the door he came face to face with Orihime. "Orihime? What's up?" Said woman simply smiled "I saw everyone was here and I wanted to come over, is that okay?" He bit the Inside Of his cheek and took a deep breathe. "Right now it's not a good time, we're waiting for our sister..." "oh, okay, maybe later?" He nodded and watched as she walked away, he knew she really came to see ulquiorra but he had no intentions of actually seeing her at this moment.
Shaking his head he went to close the door when Saya herself pulled up and parked the car before she got out and headed over to the front door. "About damn time you arrived here woman." Saya laughed as she walked over and hugged the man. "Well sorry I live over an hour away from all of you." That made him roll his eyes, "Yeah, no you need to move closer and that's final." She rolled her eyes and nudged him as she walked into the house, Nnoitora right behind her.
"Guys Saya is here!" And as soon as those words were uttered did saya soon find herself being picked up by stark and into a bone crushing hug before being snatched away by Syazel and even before she could rerun the hug she was being snatched up by the others. After a few moments she pulled away laughing. "Yes I missed you guys as well. I'm sorry I didn't come around more." "It's all good Saya, just remember to keep in touch." She nodded at Nel and the two smiled before she looked over and felt her world stop for a moment.
Not even 4 feet from her was a man with icy blue hair, deep blue eyes, and he stood roughly at 6'2. Yet the moment there's eyes met it was like a feeling of coming home. Shaking her head she noticed he was wearing a pair of black jeans, and a t-shirt that simply said 'fuck You.' Grimmjow looked at saya and almost grinned, his kitten was right in front of him, moving over towards her finally breaking the spell of shock over the both of them. And he reached over and held out his hand to her. "I'm grimmjow, you must be Saya?"
Blinking a few times she ignored the hand and shrugged. "Yeah that's me." He frowned at this before taking her hand. "Ya know it's only polite ya know?" She felt herself flush with embarrassment and looked away as she shook his hand. "Right, sorry." He chuckled "it's alright Saya, why don't we go outside and have a smoke?" She smiled at this and easily agreed.
As the two left to head outside did everyone else exchange smiles and sly glances. "Think they'll work out this time?" "They better, I can't handle when he's hurting, or she's hurting." Someone else mumbled in agreement and they all sat down while Nnoitora finally decided to order pizza, he was glad he told Saya to stay the night. He was also hoping that Grimmjow would be able to help her with her demons. Looking out the window he found himself smiling, it had been so long since Saya seemed happy and he hoped for once it would last. Heading back towards the kitchen he grabbed himself a drink and went over to speak with ulquiorra. "So, what do you think?" "About them?" "About how Grimmjow is gonna make his way back into a heart that's so clearly closed off from the rest of us." Nnoi sighed and rubbed his head. "Man, I don't even know, he's gonna have to be patient and really help her fight her demons."
Ulquiorra nodded. "Yes it's the waiting game indeed. However....." he moved closer as his voice changed to that of a hushed whisper. "Have you noticed how much stronger her reitsu is getting?" Nnoi nodded. "It is, its like past saya all over again." "Exactly, her reitsu is getting much stronger, meaning it's possible that her powers might return." "You mean...." "yes, I've felt small spikes of Akuma coming from Saya, even more so since the day her and hal fought."
This time both men shivered, an angry Saya summing Akuma again after so long was scary to even think of. "You think....do you think she can become...." "it might be possible, however....do we no what killed her mother?" "Not a clue, only one who knows is Saya and she won't mention it ever." Both men frowned before they looked up as they both heard the others coming their way. Stepping away from each other Nnoitora raised his one arm as Nel snuggled into his side.
"You okay Nel?" "Yeah I was just lonely." He chuckled as he leaned down and kissed her cheek. It was no secret that these two were dating. In fact it was Saya herself who helped them get together. Smiling down at Nel he simply kept her against his side.
"So Saya...." "hm?" She replied as he actually helped her light her cigarette. "Tell me about yourself." Exhaling her smoke she looked at him then at nothing in particular. "My name is Saya Zetsubō. I'm 27 years old. Birthday December 18th. I'm a writer if you haven't figured that out, I'm an only child, unless you count all of them inside." He nodded. "I see. My names Grimmjow Jaegerjaques, 28 years. Birthday July 31st. I'm the CEO of Espada Corp. we handle old weapons, new weapons, like a trade business, we collect them in a sense."
She just listened as he spoke, his deep voice seeming so familiar but she knew she never met him before....or...had she? Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she realized he was still talking. "I'm also an only child, I've known Nnoitora for almost our entire lives." This made her raise an eyebrow. "He never mentioned you before..." "probably because I was hardly around, traveled a lot as a child due to family things." "Ah, that makes sense now." He chuckled at this. "Yeah, I was glad to come home though, I missed so much."
She looked at him this time, wondering what he meant but also knew that it wasn't her place to pry into his personal life. "So...Saya, whats your family life like?" It was a simple question, yet that same simple question made her stiffen, she didn't know if Nnoitora told him everything. Raising an eyebrow he went to place a hand on her shoulder when she finally spoke. "My family life? Pretty fucked up."
