After most of the decorating was done, Amia and I headed back to her dorm. She told me she would sneak me dinner from the cafe because it was too risky to go myself.

I could see where she was coming from, so I agreed to stay behind. I sat on my bed and looked around the room. The walls were a mahogany color and there were posters of k-pop bands surrounding Amia's bed.

"Hey Marki, I have goodies!" Amia squeals as she walked into the room. She was holding a tray with a delicious meal on it. Spaghetti with a bread bun and a coke can.

"Thank you so much!" I said as I grabbed the tray and dug in. I popped the soda can and drank from it as well. When I was finished, Amia took the tray up and said she would be right back.

"I know a better way of sneaking into the kitchen than earlier." She said as she walked out of the door. You know, I actually didn't feel to bad at that moment. I mean we were preparing for a dance and I had gotten to a (mostly) safe place. I certainly wasn't complaining.

"Alrighty. Looks like it's bedtime for you, missy." Amia said as she came back once again.

  "Yup. I'm exhausted." I said.

"Well, you did a lot. Don't stress yourself out, alright?"

  "Yes ma'am." I replied.

  "Come on, get some sleep."

"Alright." I got under my covers as she turned the lights out. Then I could hear her walk over to her bed and crawl in.

"Good night, Marki." She said while yawning.

"Good night, Amia." I said with a smile on my face. Then I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

"Wakey wakey, sleepy head." Amia said, shaking my shoulder.

"Five minutes. I'll feed the unicorn, I swear." I sleepily replied, my brain not functioning properly.

"Oh really. Well you better move fast. It's running away!" She yelled.

"I got it!" I said sticking my arms up in the air and hugging it.

"Great. Now give it to me." I handed her the air I had collected. "Thank you, now get up. You gotta eat."

"Gmmdmaksks" I stuffed my face in the pillow.

"Come on. You gotta put up more of a fight than that."

  "JDDNSKKSW" I said slightly louder.

"Haha. Alright, I'm done." She ripped the covers off of me and threw them to the floor.

"Hey, what was that for?" I shot up, suddenly awake by the sharp cold that embraced my body.

"Not feeding the unicorn." She replied as she went to her dresser to get clothes.

  "What?" I asked, very confused.

"Nothing. Get dressed. You need to put new clothes on."

"Yep. I'll do that." I got up, went to my bag, and pulled out some jeans and a black shirt.

"After I get you breakfast, we're gonna go shopping for the dance. You down?" She asked.

"Oh yeah yeah!" Amia got me breakfast and I ate it and she returned it; same as last night.

That afternoon, we indeed went dress shopping with Cynthia and Brianna. We went to this really fancy place and got really nice dresses. Mine was a light pink, Cynthia's was dark blue, Amia's was bright red, and Brianna's was dark red.

To be honest, we all looked like princesses. When we were done, we took them off and checked them out.

We all went out to a nice sandwich place for lunch and made nice conversation about anime and what were our favorite parts. I felt normal for once. I had friends, we were able to hold a stable conversation. This is really all I needed.

Eventually, we left and went back to campus to do hair and make-up before the dance started.

Cynthia flat out refused to wear anything on her face and it took Amia hours to get her to agree to some mascara. However, we all managed to do our own thing and we were princesses again.

The clock struck seven. Party time. Brianna and Cynthia gave the run down procedure if anything bad happened. Though I really hoped it didn't.

We all walked in a horizontal line into the gym. The lights were off while purple and orange beams shot through the crowd if college students. There was a lunch table off to my left that I had a feeling I would be spending a lot of time by.

"Kiku!" Amia shrieked when she saw the Japanese man walk over to her.

"May I steal you for a while?" He asked in a calm tone. Amia looked to us for a response.

Of course we all yelled, "YES!"

She walked off with him to the middle of the dance floor. Over the course of the next hour, Cynthia was dancing with an adorable Italian in the back corner of the room and Brianna was talking with a guy in a red plaid shirt with blonde hair tied back in a ponytail and sunglasses.

Of course I was standing by the punch and snacks table I mentioned earlier. That was until a man wearing a magenta sweater vest and a blue bow tie came up to me. He had strawberry blonde hair and bright blue eyes with freckles all over his face. He sort of had a resemblance to Arthur, but surely that was just a coincidence.

"May I have this dance?" He asked me in his British accent. Well I guess it would be rude to say no...

"Um yeah, of course." I replied.

"Lovley, poppett." He out stretched his hand and I took it. He lead me to the dance floor where they were playing a slow song. He put his hands on my waist and I put my hands in his shoulders as we swayed awkwardly side to side.

"What's your name by the way? My name is Oliver." He asked.

"Huh? Oh, my name is Marki." I replied.

"Marki. Quite a Beautiful name if you ask me." I blushed against my own will.

  "T-thank you." I said.

"How abo-" He was cut short by a scream. Coming from the very middle of the dance floor.

"He's dead!" Someone screamed in horror.

A/n: Fabulous clifhangers, oh how we love them. Anyway yeah I guess the lesson hear is to not wake up first thing in the morning and start mumbling about unicorns. Part two of the Halloween chapter even though Halloween was two weeks ago. Totally. Until next time, bye!
