Chapter 3~ A place I can call home

  The plane ride seemed longer than I expected. It was all ok in the end because I got to listen to a full Imagine Dragons album(Night Visions) and a Lindsey Stirling album. (Shatter Me!)

  On top of that, it took a while to get through luggage and exchange my american money to pounds.

  Then I called a taxi and arranged a ride to the school. I was nervous, I was happy, I was overall excited to see what lied ahead.

  Then the driver pulled me out of my thoughts when she said, "Ma'am, we're here." Wow that was short. I looked out the window to the building.

  Woah... The school was amazing. It was huge! It was big and grey and had windows all over. I got lost in the beautiful architecture.

  "Ma'am..." The lady said again.

  "Oh, yeah...sorry." I handed her the money I was supposed to pay and stepped out of the taxi. I pulled my bags out of the trunk and stood on the sidewalk.

  I once again plugged my headphones in my phone and started playing "Roundtable Rival" by Lindsey Stirling. (I love that song!) I pulled my bags behind me as I lugged them towards the university.

  I walked through the wet grass and to to the entrance. There were two wooden doors that had intricate designs on them.

  Looking inside I could tell this was going a labyrinth by all the hallways and classrooms. I mean there had to be 30 hallways with over 100 rooms.

  As soon as I got to what I thought was the correct hallway for my dorm, I noticed really loud shouting. I pulled my headphones out of my ears and listened carefully.

  "Give that back!"

  "Not until you admit that Italy is a way better country than Canada." Was that just a geography thing or a Hetalia reference?

  "No way. Thats not fair. Can't we just say they're equally awsome?" I listened closer as they were talking normal now.

  "Maybe... if you agree to buy me some waffles."

  "Fine, but I don't see what that has to do with..." Then there was a large crash.

  "REGGIE!" They both shouted in unison.

  Feeling bad about snooping in on the conversation, I walked down the hall.

  I was looking for 221B.

  220D...221A...221B!

  I stoped as I noticed where the room was. I was standing right outside of the room where I think the girls were having an argument.

  With my hands shaking, I opened the door. On the inside there were 3 beds, 3 dressers, a mini fridge and microwave. In the middle of that were two girls trying to catch a small dog. Now I saw that one of the dressers fell, making the crash from earlier.

  For some reason the dog ran over to me and sat down in front of me, like it was waiting for my command. I picked it up and gave it to one of the girls.

  The one I gave it to had tan skin, black hair, and brown eyes behind her glasses.

  The girl standing next to her had light brown skin with brown hair and green eyes also behind her glasses.

  "Hehe... sorry. That was Reggie, our uh hell hound. He's uh always making messes as you can see." The girl with green eyes pointed to the fallen dresser. "Anyway, I'm Brianna and this is Cynthia. Are you the new roomate?"

  "Um, yeah. My name is Marki. Im a Demigod, daughter of Hades." I introduced.

  "Awesome. Im a Demon/Angel hybrid and Brianna is a grim reaper." Cynthia said.

  "Hey, maybe our hell hound likes you because your a daughter of Hades. You both have that connection to you know... the underworld." Brianna said.

  "Maybe. That would be really cool because ya know, I always wanted a dog."

  "Alright well, come in, come in. Unpack and make yourself comfortable." Cynthia suggested.

  "Okay. Thanks!" I walked in and put my bags on the one empty bed. This place was nice. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy from what I could tell. It hade white sheets with blue pillows.

  "So I guess we should get to know each other..." Brianna started.
