Oh-So-Awesome Nerdy

Chapter 6

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty!" I opened my eyes to see who was waking me up. 

"Ugh! Go away Vince! Go back to sleep, it's so early" I said. 

"Well for your information Miss. It's our first day of school" I sat up immediately. He's right. It's our first day of school. We got back home from Cebu yesterday. I insisted Rocky to come with us here in Manila but he and Genevieve have work and Gian will be going to school. But he promised to visit us ASAP. 

"Ugh, right! I forgot" I looked at Vince and he's already dressed for school. 

"Get your ass up and go get a shower" I rolled my eyes. 

"Ok. Geez. Why so excited?" 

"I don't know. Now move!" I followed Vince and went to get a shower. After my shower, I got my nerdy attire, just a t-shirt and jeans. I fixed my hair into a messy bun. My fake braces are already on my teeth and my dorky eye glasses. I looked at myself at the mirror. I smiled, showing off these fake braces. 

"Vince! Sophie! Mag almusal na muna kayo. Baka malate pa kayo" nanay Inday shouted from the kitchen. Vincent went down first and I followed. I saw Sapphire and Jason drinking their coffee. There were two luggages near the door. 

"Good morning dear" Jason said. I smiled. 

"Good morning" 

"Good luck on your first day. Jason and I will be leaving. We will be back to LA" Sapphire said. 

"Aww, too bad, you guys have a safe trip, ok?" They both nodded. "Oh can you please send my regards to all of them" they smiled and nodded. Vince and I ate our breakfast.

We rode a bus to school. Nanay Inday insisted that our driver will drive us to school but then I reminded her again the reason why I choose to move here. She had no choice. It was an hour and a half drive to school. We are now standing in front of these huge buildings. Oh god. This is one big University. I sigh. 

"Hey Sophie, I think I'm gonna puke" I smiles and looked at him. 

"Don't worry, we can do this" he nodded. We walked inside. 

"I have to go and find my room. I'll see you later Vince" I was about to leave when he grabbed my hands. 

"You're not going anywhere. I'll help you find your room. C'mon!" he chooses a different course. Mine is Business Management and his is Multi-Media Arts. Good thing that we have the same schedule. 

"Room 215.. Ah there it is" Vince said. "Get inside, I'll text you later" I nodded. 

"Where's your room?" I asked. 

"My room number is 220, so I guess it won't be far from here" I nodded again. "Bye Sophie, see you later. Have fun!" I smiled. 

"Bye Vince"

I took a few breaths before I came in. my first subject is English. I took a sit on the corner of the room. Yeah, I'm such a loner. The professor is still not here. I checked my phone and there was a message from Vince.

Whatcha doin'? :)

To: Vince 

Nothing. I'm bored.
