Chapter 10

"Sophie, ok ka lang ba talaga?" I rolled my eyes. Karylle's been asking me this question since I got here in school.  

"I'm fine.. Ok, chill" I answered. 

"Lagyan natin ng face powder para di halata yang pasa mo" Rachel said. 

"NO! Don't touch it! Masakit" I said. Yup I have a bruise on my left cheek. It's not that big though, but it is visible and it hurts so badly. 

"Hi baby" Ethan said to Karylle. Don't they have classes? It's already 9:30 AM. We don't have a professor. 

"Wala ba kayong klase?" Karylle asked. 

"Nope. Wala si prof" Ethan answered. 

"Hoy! Lumabas nga kayo... Trespassing kayo ah!" Rachel said. Vince sat next to me. 

"Relax Rachel, aren't you happy to see me?" Vince asked. Rachel blushed. I can't help but laugh. Vince and Rachel are getting along well. Vince hasn't admitted that he likes Rachel though. 

"Ugh, once I saw that Albert I'm gonna punch him on the face" Vince said with pure venom in his voice. I held his hand. 

"Chill Vince. I'm fine. I think he didn't mean it" 

"He needs to apologize" 

"No need. I'm fine" there was a knock on our classroom door and all my classmate looked to the door and went quite. Albert is standing on the door. What is he doing here? 

"Excuse me, pwede ko bang makausap si Sophia?" Albert asked. I stood up from my seat. Vince did the same. 

"Where are you going?" I asked. 

"I'm coming with you" he said looking at Albert. 

"No, stay here" 

"I don't trust him" I sigh. 

"Vince..." 

"Hayaan mo na pare" Ethan said. Vince sighs and sat to his chair.

Albert and I went outside the room so we can talk privately. He handed me a small box. 

"Ano to?" 

"Buksan mo" I slowly opened the box and found new glasses. "Sorry kahapon" I looked at him and he curse when he saw my bruise. "Sorry talaga Sophie. Ugh! Kasalanan to ni Joshua eh. tsk" 

"It's ok" I smiled at him. 

"Hindi, nagkapasa ka pa tuloy. Shit!" he said. Oh gosh, my heart is doing it again. You know, abnormal beating. 

"Ano ka ba, ok lang ako. Tsaka thanks dito sa glasses. You didn't have to" I said. 

"Hoy Joshu! Halika nga dito" Joshua stood next to Albert. "Mag sorry ka! Kasalanan mo to eh" Albert said. 

"Hi miss. Ako nga pala si Joshua Ramirez, sorry dun kahapon. Napalakas yung haggis ko" 

"I'm Sophia. Ok lang yun. No harm done" I smiled and he nodded. 

"Sige na pare, may klase pa ako. Ingat ka Sophia. Sorry ulit" and with that, Joshua left. 

"Wala ka bang klase?" I asked Albert. 

"Wala, mamaya pa" I nodded. 

"Sige na. Pasok na ako. Ingat ka" he smiled. Oh gosh! 

"Bye Sophia, Ingat ka" I went back inside the room with a cheeky smile on my face. 

"Wow, si nerd marunong din pala lumandi" Martha said. Ugh, Whatever. 

"Don't mind her" Karylle said. I smiled.
